Bianco,

Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Not one single person has been infected this way and you will not be the first. Going down on a woman is also not a risk for hiv infection. Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect.

If you want to know more about condoms, click on and read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line.

You have not had a risk for hiv infection in anything you have asked us about.

Bianco,

Please don't send me PM's. We are aware of your thread and will answer your questions as and when we are able to. I have blocked you from sending me any further PM's.

As you have been told, you don't have HIV. Frankly the information you're seeking about the conditions in which HIV remains viable are irrelevant and will only serve to fuel your unfounded fears further. All you need to know is that HIV is fragile and has to be transmitted inside the body. It doesn't survive outside of the human body for any considerable time.

You don't have HIV.

Please follow our rule and don't start any new threads. Keep all of your entries in this same thread which I have merged with the new one you started.

In the entire history of the epidemic there's never been a confirmed case of a guy getting infected from getting a blowjob. Not one. As for giving oral to a woman who is poz, that is strictly theoretical. In the real world of HIV it doesn't happen. The female fluids which might contain HIV are in the cervical area, which is much further up inside of her than your mouth or tongue would reach.

Additionally, your saliva has naturally inhibitory elements which neutralize HIV. So one way or another tranmission is not happening that way.

You are worrying needlessly.

A white tongue is very common and doesn't always indicate there's a problem. And it certainly is not an HIV-specific occurence.

You need to seriously re-focus. For some reason you have this thing in your head that you have an HIV problem. You don't. What you do have is a problem ABOUT HIV, which is an entirely different matter. There is no need for testing nor for being concerned about HIV.

Discuss it with your doctor again if you are concerned about the coating on your tongue. And if you can't let go of this unwarranted concern about HIV then I suggest you see a therapist or a like professional to talk about the emotional aspects of what is driving a groundless fear. Really.

b,

I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep all your additional thoughts or questions in one thread.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hiv tests do not test for hiv itself, it tests for the antibodies the body creates in response to the presence of hiv. If your body has created these antibodies, they will be in your saliva. Antibodies are NOT capable of hiv transmission. Antibodies will not infect you.

Saliva is not infectious. Saliva also contains many different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv. Damaged hiv cannot infect.

Getting a blowjob is not a risk for hiv infection.

Going down on a woman is not a risk for hiv infection.

You have not had a risk for hiv infection.

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Take your concerns up with your doctor. They are unrelated to HIV.

Bianco,

If you want to know your hiv status, the ONLY way to find out is through taking an hiv antibody test. A CBC will tell you nothing about your hiv status. I've been positive for over ten years and my CBC always comes back with normal counts across the board.

You haven't had a risk for hiv infection. You've already had a conclusive hiv result. You ARE hiv negative.

It's time for you to talk to your doctor about your concerns. There's nothing more we can do for you here.

bianco,

A person with hiv would have normal or low CD4s and normal or high CD8s. The total lymphocyte count does not reflect the person's hiv status, whether they are positive or negative.

But that has nothing to do with you. Why? BECAUSE YOU DID NOT HAVE A RISK FOR HIV INFECTION.

Rodney has already given you the posting guideline which discusses repeated posting over NO RISK incidents - he posted them a few posts up in red. if you keep posting about these sex worker incidents, you'll be given a time out. Please consider yourself warned.

You aren't listening to what has been said to you. You've already received accurate responses from perfectly qualified people.

Instead of listening you are simply inputting yet more details which are totally irrelevant to the situation. When there has been a risky incident all kinds of semi-information such as you are mixing in like your lymphocyte numbers would be totally irrelevant. ONLY an HIV test will render a reliable answer when taken at the appropriate time -- 13 weeks after the incident.

But you DIDN'T HAVE A RISKY INCIDENT. So there is no neeed for testing. If you have health concerns you need to discuss them with your doctor. This is not an HIV incident. If you persist in coming back with just more of the same you're going to get a time out.

How many ways can you be told this is not an HIV situation before you get it? I don't know but I do know we're not willing to engage you further about this.

Bianco,

Hiv can only infect a very few, very specific cell types. These cell types are not found in any great amount in the mouth. Combine that fact with the fact that saliva contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect and you have a non-starter where hiv risks are concerned. Going down on a woman is NOT a risk for hiv infection.

The cells that hiv might infect on the penis are only found down inside the urethra and the inside of the foreskin, if you have one. However, as saliva is NOT infectious, getting a blowjob is not and never will be a risk for hiv infection.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

You have been warned about repeatedly posting over your no risk incidents. I'm giving you that time out, in order to encourage you to seek professional counseling to help you learn way of managing your hiv anxiety. We cannot help you with that here. Your time out will be for 28 days. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned, no questions asked.
