Title: Anti HPV virus treatment worked

Hi guys,

In December 2011 I was given a series of injections with an antiviral substance against the HPV virus strain that causes anal cancer and that I had been infected with since  a very long time.  I had had several surgically removals of small tumors, so it came as a suprise to me that the biopsy came back hpv free.
I waited to post this until the latest test (June 2012) showed no irregular growth in my rectum.
To me this is  a small miracle.
The antiviral substance is experimental, but I can always provide anyone with the email of this professor here in Belgium.

I hope you are all doing well.

I am in the midst of my college exams ( first year) to become an interpreter for the deaf by 2015.

I am being treated for HPV anal dysplasia.

These injections, was it the Guardasil vaccine that you received?  If not, what exactly were you injected with?

@ buginme :  It was an experimental drug, so I have no names.I only saw  codes. But it worked.

@Em : yes my general. Already back  to my books. :)

@ Matt : I don't know what the substance name was. It was experimental. But I can get you the professors email if you would like to find out more about it. I don"t know of anything being published about it but I am sure he can tell you more about it.

Matt, I would be interested in hearing what you find.

I assume he received the Guardasil vaccine as there are quite a few clinical trials going on right now and it is being prescribed off label in some for HPV treatment situations (I was prescribed it off label and have received 2 of 3 shots so far). Thanks
