ONYXATL-NEEDS FEEDBACK FROM THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE
« on: August 19, 2006, 10:52:16 pm »
POZ E-Community Members:

I am currenting thinking about relocating to Atlanta, GA. I would deeply appreciate any and all feedback from my bro' and sis'that are currently living there and/or have active knowledge of the city...In specific about HIV agencies within the downtown and Midtown areas...Also, affordable housing, Doctor Availability, and Employment options for an Exp. Customer Svc Supervisor (+10 YRS)...I am new to the email board, so if it takes a minute or so for me to reply, please forgive me...Most Respectfully Submitted, ONYXATL ;)

Onyx,

Welcome to the Forums! Two things:

1. I think you'd get more responses if you posted this thread in our Living With HIV Forum. It's a much higher traffic forum than Comments;

2. Using All Caps in a thread IS CONSIDERED SHOUTING!!!! We can hear you babe. ;)

I've brought this thread to the attention of our friendly Moderators who will no doubt move it to the right forum for you.

Regards,

MtD

Hello Onyx, it is Eldon. First of all Welcome to the forums where you will find love, encouragement, support, understanding, fun , and many answers to your questions relating to HIV/AIDS.

I do agree with Matty that you are SHOUTING when you are typing in all CAPS. It is not necessary we can hear you during your shout-out.

I did a search for you under www.dogpile.com and ran across this non-profit organization called Aid Atlanta. You can reach their website at: http://www.aidatlanta.org/ and there they have the necessary links for Fulton County and they do have a physician referral list for you.

This should help you out tremendously.

Try www.asofinder.com.  Type in the Zip code and this will give you a better idea of where the ASO's are.  I was traveling cross country once, checked into a hotel for the night in Atlanta.  Had so much fun I satayed a month.  Have the best day

Welcome to the family Onyx!  Good luck in the A T L.
LIFE is not a race to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well-preserved body, but, rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--WOW! WHAT A
RIDE!!!
