My new Tattoo (Pictures)
« on: July 23, 2008, 02:40:49 pm »
Hey All! i just got home from being out of town for a week and a half. I went to Oregon for my best friends wedding and the day before we got new tattoos. Here are a few pics of my tattoo and one of me a few days ago. It says "Compassion" down my left side. It is tattoo number 11.

Pretty cool.  Did it hurt much or not at all?

Did they ask your HIV status or make you sign some kind of waiver or something? I ask because it's been brought up here before, and I was refused service the last time I tried to get a tattoo here in Texas.

You might be refused, but, all you have to do is find another place to do it, not all will refuse due to HIV+ status, so, shop-around, sometimes, money is all they want, I have found that most don't even care if your HIV+  ;D  if for some reason they do refuse, I wouldn't trust them.....a lotta Tatoo Parlors are suppose to follow their States Department of Health Giude lines, if the place that refused you due to your HIV+ status, I would question, the way they clean their Equip. (some places will re-use dirty ink to save money and cut cost), also, they will re-use dirty neddles to cut cost also ( and they aren't suppose to do any of that), so, that doesn't say much about the way that place is run, it's kinda funny that a lotta places that will refuse you due to HIV+ status are the very same ones that DON'T FOLLOW the RULES........ if a tatoo is done the correct way, the risk of HIV is minimal  :)
