...and i return with updates
« on: August 01, 2007, 11:51:28 pm »
it has been some time since my last post...my son and i are doing ok after the tragic loss of my husband.  of course there are many questions that remain unanswered but we are holding our own.  the stress levels remain very high for me which may or may not be such a good thing...but soon, things will settle.  i have been seeing my therapist which has been helping with some of the emotions surrounding such a situation...that has helped.

today i met with my doctor and my latest numbers are:

8.1.07:  CD4 - 451  Viral Load - 38,710  28%
5.2.07:  CD4 - 518  Viral Load - 28,890  35%

my doctor was encouraging and mentioned that i really need to reduce my stress...but that is difficult as i am knee deep in the mess my husband left us with.  not to mention i have to deel with his family, ugh.

...and i move forward.  hope all is well with everyone.
5/07 - viral load: 28,890  CD4: 514
8/07 - viral load: 38,710  CD4: 451
9/07 - viral load: 47,000  CD4: 467
11/07 - viral load: 17,600 CD4: 421

Hi Belief,

there were some posts asking if you were doing okay and I'm glad to see that you and your son are holding on during those difficult times. Your doctor is right, your numbers are fine and you can concentrate on reducing your stress now.

Hang in there,

Yeah, there is a post in the women's forum asking about you. I'm glad things are coming together for you. I know you must still feel a bit overwhelmed but am glad you are talking to your therapist. I understand that it a long road ahead or it may seem for the moment but thing will get better. Be strong.

Hey Belief!!

I just sent a PM to you before switching over from PW to LW. Thanks so much for updating us. You've been on our minds. Glad to know you see a point where the stress level is going to lower and great to hear you've got some therapeutic support, too.

I hope you and your son have a chance to do something relaxing this summer. I don't recall if you stated his age, but if he's school-age it might be good for both of you to share some fun before the new school year starts. Easier suggested than scheduled, but I hope you can.

So good to hear from you.

Em

Glad to see you are doing fine :).

Right now a song came to my mind... from Sir Elton Jhon, it says..."release, relax, let go... and hey now let's recover your soul".

Hope soon, peace and sunlight comes back and stay with your forever :) Hugs,

Juan Carlos
