its 02-40 UK time and I am still awake...
« on: February 20, 2011, 10:00:25 pm »
HI all hope you are all well...I haven't posted much lately. I just want to vent and need constructive advice. Most people will remember that a couple of years ago I posted stuff about this man I had met on pos personals and had problems with him due to commitment and other stuff. Well, you will not believe this, yesterday afternoon (sunday), I got a telephone call from stepdaughter genuinely enquiring about this guy that I have been in a relationship with for almost fives, asking if I knew him. As per usual I asked how she knew this man. She said oh auntie I have been dating this man since July 2010 and I want to find out what type of a man he is. At the time my step daughter was calling from my BF's flat. So I said to her initially, that this man is dating a friend of my, she was quiet. I then drove my car to my BF's flat to confirm this and I found her actually cooking a meal for him as he was at work. In fact before I got to his flat I cursed him and told him he was a bitch, how could he sleep with my son's sister behind my back. He was dumbfounded and said to me what are you going to achieve by going to my flat...I said to him what I need to know. As expected he did not come to the house after waiting three hours I left, took my laptop trashed the bed that I bought and watered it as though it was my garden lawn.
So I left the girl there..there were some communication with the guy via text and he was not answering my calls, until I witheld my caller id. He was very evasive and said to me I am out of town at that minute he hung the phone on me.

The last time I spoke to my daughter she was saying that he was driving her back to her place in another town. I suspect he may even sleep there.

I am done with this guy, but i need closure once and for all. Am I write in calling him so that we can talk as adults. He owes me money and am afraid that if I do anything on impulse,I might lose everything.

Hello shotis,

If it was me I would forget about the money owed to me and leave him behind.  My ex broke up with me a year ago after I gave him a choice between his drinking or me.  I left most everything behind and moved out of state when he chose the drinking.

Although at this time I am not dating, so i'm not sure how good my advice is.  I do like your idea of turning the bed into a garden lawn.

I hope everything else is going ok with you.
