I am writing from Europe...
I have visited a prostitute 3 weeks ago...and she did a blowjob, however without condom. Actually, I didn't want that...but she was to fast!

Now, I was reading through some websites and medical pages. And in the meantime I am really confused...
1) Is that a HIV transmission risk?
2) Should I go for a test?
3) What other STD's are possible (after 3 weeks I have no symptoms at all at the penis).?
4) When does a 4. generation test makes sense (after which time...)?

Getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Not one person has ever become infected in this manner and you will not be the first.

You do NOT need to test over this blowjob. However, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence. Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple.

Yes ; Iam aware of condoms ! Especially, for vaginal and anal intercourse! However, in this case, the lady was too fast that I was able to react.

Another question:
How reliable are 4th generation hiv tests (p24 antigen/antibody) after 4 weeks? Do you have any numbers?

Hi

a "professional" (lady) massaged my penis with oil....apparently, she was stimulated by these actions and she has touched (most probably) her vagina with her hands (she was wearing underwear during the massage and went with her fingers for a few seconds in her slip). Effectively, I am not sure how deep she was in her vagina and how "wet" she was....however, she continued massaging me....but mainly with the other hand

Is there a hiv risk (assuming that she had some vagina fluid at her hands)?

Ann, I am aware of my last posting, but that was another story....so, although both happenings are at the edge of classical transmissions, I was not sure whether it is a risk or not. Conclusively, I thought it is better to ask than to assume...
