Oh, too true.  And not to mention that the wretched Mummers parade goes directly in front of my apartment and I have to endure the noise for something like 12 continuous hours every New Year's Day.  It's absolutely horrible.

Yeah, I used to watch that every yr. until are local UPN station took it off the air, now I have look for it on WTBS, if they even show it, they did this yr.  them Mummers are the Gayest looking str8 men I've ever seen.....but never-the-less it's always fun to watch in HD

You haven't lived until the six-hour Gay Pride parade goes by underneath your fourth-floor living-room windows in Greenwich Village for twenty years.  One year my annual Pride Party compatriots and I wadded up wet paper towels and threw them at Mayor Ed Koch.  Then the police rang my doorbell, but that's a story for another time............
