Actually, except for the cold, it would be perfect for Philadelphia's annual Mummer's Day parade.

Oh, too true.  And not to mention that the wretched Mummers parade goes directly in front of my apartment and I have to endure the noise for something like 12 continuous hours every New Year's Day.  It's absolutely horrible.

Yeah, I used to watch that every yr. until are local UPN station took it off the air, now I have look for it on WTBS, if they even show it, they did this yr.  them Mummers are the Gayest looking str8 men I've ever seen.....but never-the-less it's always fun to watch in HD
