Took A Much Needed Break
« on: July 01, 2010, 06:05:18 pm »
Well a lot has happened since I was on here last and a lot of close friends have died. Back last year I went off my meds for over 6 months and my numbers dropped my CD4 went down too 18 and my VL was 9 million. Yeah about kicked the bucket not going to do that one ever again. My numbers are slowly going back up again my CD4 now is 181 and VL is 123. Still on the same reg as before nothing has changed picked up Mepron though that stuff really sucks. Hope everyone else has been doing OK.

It's good you learned your lesson Jerry, treatment interruptions just don't work.

I think in the future there will be drugs that last longer in the system that will allow for less frequent dosing but for now it's once a day.

Hey Little Buddy:

(can I say that to someone who towers a good foot above me?)

This is my third attempt to post to this thread, so I'm not holding out much hope. Something is terribly wrong!  But that's a topic for another thread.

It's good to hear from you.

Sorry to hear your numbers headed South so fast, but it's good to hear that your VL has dropped so dramatically and that the meds are appear to be doing their job.

Hey Jerry glad to see you back. Hang in there, you can do it. It isn't like you haven't been through a lot in the last several years yourself.
