Hi, I know there are a lot posts here about fingering risk of HIV. but my case is not a cut it's a scrub off skin (the top layer came off in size of 1 mm, no bleeding and the cut was not deep enough to produce a scab ,so I pill the small part of skin off. this happen 8AM, and by 4PM same day I was fingering a stripper for a good of 10 minutes. forgotten about the cut ion my index. She was wet but I never inserted my finger inside her. I was Ruben on and around the clitoris. When I am done I realize the cut. so I went to the car and rub my hands with hand sanitizer and felt a sting for a second on the wound. When I got home I checked the wound with Magnifying Glasses, and all I see is a pink shining dot no blood. I pressed it so hard and no blood come out. I am nervous reck since then. Can you please help

Hi Mister . HIV is acquired during unprotected vaginal or anal sex and has never been transmitted from fingering , its never happened and isn't a risk .

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED FURTHER HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

You absolutely categorically didn't have a risk but if you must test you can do so 6 weeks past any possible exposure and again at 3 months to confirm the results , these are the CDC guidelines and should be trusted .

I merged your thread into your original one , please do not start multiple threads and only post in this one . If you cant find your thread go to your profile and select show own post and it will take you here .

And getting tested is strictly for your peace of mind because as you have been told you were not at risk. Based on what you have reported a negative result is a foregone conclusion.
