New here & Newly POZ
« on: February 22, 2011, 02:36:58 pm »
Hello all, I wanted to introduce myself as a newly POZ woman looking for friends. I was diagnosed 2 months ago. I'm dealing with it alot better than I thought I would if it ever came to this and I think what helps is knowing HIV has come a long way and with taking care of myself, I can still live a long productive life. I just got my first set of levels today and was told they are very good and that my immune system is good. Viral Load: 4360, CD4: 734 and 39%. I have done a lot of research and still needing to learn alot more.

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis and welcome.

Your numbers are indeed excellent and no different to millions of healthy negative people.
I hope you sustain those markers for a very long time, and you sound upbeat and pretty sorted.
I hope you make friends and keep your diet and lifestyle in a tip top condition and continue with good health.

Best wishes

Matt
