Title: Sophisticated Campaigning: Hillary Clinton is a real . . .
Post by: Matty the Damned on January 24, 2008, 06:41:00 pm
Reported by the good folk at TPMuckraker: (http://www.tpmmuckraker.com/archives/005124.php)

A couple of days ago, a group called Citizens United Not Timid filed papers with the IRS as a "527" organization. Then we saw that Roger Stone had signed on as the group's "assistant treasurer." Uh oh.

So what's Stone up to? Fortunately, he laid the whole scheme out to The Weekly Standard.

It's this simple: it's all about the group's acronym, which, used in conjunction with Hillary Clinton, is supposed to be irresistibly humorous. That is the beginning and the end of it. The group will not be running ads in any form and will not be making any robocalls. They'll be making T-shirts. That's it. You can buy them for $25 on their website:

And the design for those T-Shirts? Herewith a sample:

Yup, Stone and his mates figure that the best way to ensure a Republican victory in November 2008 is to call Hillary a "cunt".

Inspired, no?

There is a little shop on Main Street in Guerneville.  They have had a T Shirt in the window since I moved here three years ago.  It sells for $8.95.

On the front, there is a picture of a marijuana plant with the words "Good Bush" underneath

Next to that, a picture of our President with the words "Bad Bush" underneath

In 361 days, 3 hours and 51 minutes... That shirt will become a collector item but... for $70,000.00 one can purchase the entire store. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Have the best day

I would by the tee shirt just to walk around with C.U.N.T. on my chest. I think it would totally backfire on the Republicans to make those shirts :D

Then I'd have to walk next to you with my Oregon State sweatshirt  that just says         BEAVERS

When I was in teenage-hood, there was a store called GL Perry in my hometown that pressed decals on t-shirts.  I got one that had a picture of Mount Rushmore on it with a pot leaf under it that read "Even the best get stoned."  I was going to a private (Seventh-Day Adventist) academy at the time and wore that to school.  Needless to say, I had a couple days off.
