results in coulpe of days
« on: June 01, 2006, 05:35:14 pm »
Ann and everybody:

Thanks for the reassurance and kind words in the old forum over my situation.

So wired, i have noticed 13 small bumps( rashes) on the right side of my forearm this afternoon(they popped up just mins ago), they are a little bit itchy, not red ones. I know symptoms means nothing, and the timeline is late for any ARS symptoms to show up. I have been drinking a lot these days( yesterday and this morning, due to anxiety and depression) I'm wondering could this drinking thing yield those little bumps?? Man, that's really really annoying me, especially when i am waiting for the test result in couple of days. I really hope am not infected over an extremely low risk and negative in 9 weeks.. :'(

Next couple of days will be difficult again for me, hopefully another negative is waiting for me. I'm tired of this and just wanna go home.. :'( :'(

Thanks again, have a nice day..

Satoshi

satoshi,

In the old forum you have a thread that is 82 posts long in which you posted 44 times, and you still want to talk symptoms?

We've told you repeatedly that symptoms mean nothing.

Let us know when you get that negative result.

You're still counting bumps?

Hopefully when you receive the inevitable negative result you will be willing to let go of this unwarranted fear about HIV.

Cheers,

Hi, everyone:

EMM, before i'm heading back home, i just wanna hear from you guys one last time that am i truly OK?? Do i or do i not need another test in couple of weeks later when i get home?? It seemed like this issue has been sticking around me and is not going to easily get rid of from my head....i have a appointment with a counsellor of my city's AIDS committee tomorrow, WOW, hopefully i can forget about it forever after the reassurance from you.

A 12 weeks negative means i don't have it, RIGHT??

I promise this will be the last one i'll ever post. Sorry for that i'm not being cool all the time..I just wanna make sure i'm Ok.

Have a nice day.

Hi, guys:

Here we go again, i just checked out the website of my city's AIDS committee, the bulletin suggests people who had potential exposure should be tested after 14 weeks for an accuracy result!! But last time i went there with my 9 weeks result, they already said i'm OK.. seems quite contrary of their own !?! Who is right? Does anyone knows whats the windows period of HIV infection in Canada?? 14 weeks, oh thats even one weeks more than CDC's suggestion.

Ann, Andy? Shoud i let it go?

Satoshi, what I wonder is if you are willing to let this go.

In a number of countries 12 weeks is the accepted testing point. Here in the US by CDC standards it's 13 weeks.

Bottom line? You received a reliable negative result. Period. End of story.

But if you have become addicted to torturing yourself with what ifs and speculation, then I am afraid you will find lots of faux information to feed those fears. Quite surfing the net, take a breath and get on with your life, why don't you!

No kidding.

Cheers,
Andy Velez
