I've seen this Genest fella a while ago.  He was in some Gaga video, wasn't he?  I think the either "Born This Way" or "Judas".  Not in the mood to listen to a full song by the woman to verify it though.

Here's a video showing what he looks like without the tats. Kinda neat.

No, they're not. Some are quite nice; if (or when)I ever find myself needing glasses I may buy some.  And I wouldn't really call them "hipster", but that's just me.

I feel old and cranky and jaded. I was reading an interview with french gay porn star Francois Sagat, who was so uber hip about 15 minutes ago, about how he is so post-hip now and can't be bothered by all the gay lifestyles and his fashion friends either, which seemed like a good choice.

I like young hipsters when I meet them in the flesh and blood, usually...  But I also like rather neutral young people who don't embody such obvious identities. Also is it just me or are teenage or 20yo hipsters MUCH more bearable than the 35yo model?

Still, this tired old vampire is looking forward to some new incarnation that sparkles and compels more than hipster, which is sucked bone dry.  A friend and I made the circuit around Hamburg recently and had the same feeling, nothing new seems to be coming up.

Does that mugler man really want to live with that for the rest of his life? As you get older, and have seen it all, and then again 5 times over, you start to value unstudied looks and styles.

Here in Austin, the hipsters seem to be gravitating to the browline glasses rather than the ray ban glasses.  But browlines seem so much more like Mad Men than Hipster.

Life goes on. I can honestly say that I have not lost any sleep over it.

What's perplexing to me is how people who have (probably) never seen hipsters in their lives can hijack a thread with tired ass clips in some attempt to prove they have some sort of street cred. You do know that those representations are satirical in nature  ::)

That's why I posted them.

Personally I have daily contact with 2012 version hipsters everyday, from ages 18 - 50+, and have been more or less enmeshed in this culture for I dunno, 30 years... since I started art school I guess.

What's perplexing to me is how someone I don't know can have so much bitterness inside of them focused on someone they've never even had a conversation with.  You reply to my posts fairly commonly with some sort of snide commentary about how meaningless or arbitrary it is.  As for "hijacking" this thread; you do realize it was a thread purely about miss P posting a picture, right?

Nope. That's Lost's (and Vampire Diaries, or whatever it's called) Ian Somerhalder.  He looks nothing like ugly ass Jared Leto.

Ok. I saw leto's name on the list of people in the photos and didn't see his douchey look anywhere in the pics...  Thought maybe he butched it up a bit.

Ah i see, names in order.  So this is him:

PS I don't think Leto is ugly.  One of the prototype metrosexuals in my opinion.

I like his harlequin meets Massai look here:

Leto should be right in your wheelhouse. He tries ever so hard to look thirteen.
