Photographs from Belgium
« on: December 30, 2007, 12:05:48 pm »
I am going to use this thread for all of the photographs I take while in Belgium with Hermie. Today I took my hairy husband out to brunch at a nice cafe' with our little darling Lola. After brunch we took the dog back home and then walked around taking photos, went inside Saint Bavon Church that was built in the first part of the 9th century. No photos were allowed inside the church but needless to say it was an amazing place to experience. I took a photo of the 3 towers of Gent, Hermie and myself, and one of him. So here they are. We are having a great time together, maybe someday we can be together all the time... Sigh.

Where have I seen that look before? I know AMG2007!!! :D Hermie that's not nice to do that to Dan.  ;) Dan, it will wear off in an hour or so.  :D Just don't eat everything in site or you'll have to buy two seats on the plane to come home.  :D

I weighed 148lbs  before I left. I will probably be pushing 180 lbs when I leave on the 23rd. My HIV doc has been pushing me to gain weight for years so that should make him happy when I see him on Feb 5th.

Mom showed me your pictures from your trip to visit Lola (sorry, hermie, you only exist to type for Lola ;)).  That church looks just like a castle and it's crazy that Lola went into the restaurant with you and ate from your big ol' plate.  It looks like strawberries and salad.  I'm eating my apple.  That fuzzy hat looks really warm, too.

Queen you are really gonna want some of what I had today in Amsterdam. I even got me a "take home" sample of that fine legal shit... I'm gonna smoke it and think of you darling.
We spent the weekend in Amsterdam. There was a birthday party thrown of erin Friday night for her 50th. Dragonette was there along with Water Duck and Hermie. Plus a few people we didn't know until we got there. 20 pozzies sitting around a table eating great food, getting loaded and talking for hours. It was kind of like a mini gathering! I didn't take photos at the party because you never know in those types of situations who would have a problem with their mugs being posted on the internet...

So here we go. Photos of me and Hermilicious, some pretty flowers in in the flower market, me smokin' a doobie outside a "coffee shop" etc.

Herman is eating CHICKEN FEET!!! Yuck... I just couldn't bring myself to eat that.

I am in the middle of my time here with hermie, but I am starting to get a little homesick.

What up with this?  More people have "viewed" the fried chicken foot than those beautiful flowers!  And, more people were interested in Jeromy with Lola than Hermie.  I think someone's seriously checking Jeromy out  :o  Unless it's Jeromy secretly logging on and clicking on his own picture ;)
Either way, i'm glad you are having such a good time.

Time for me to comment a bit. Danny is still sound asleep.

It is so wonderful to have Dan with me here. I have been alone and lonely and had a terrible 2007.
I quit my job at the chic Hotel, because they were always 1 month late in paying my invoices... stinking rich, but unhappy and so unfair.

I most enjoy having Dan around in the house. Watching TV together, making lunch, clean the house, cuddle and walk Lola.
These very simple things in life are so important.

Dan is a bit homesick and I know he cannot move here and I am not allowed into the US.. sad side of the story.
But we will just enjoy the times we are together. Carpe Diem.

We plan on making a trip to Paris and take Dan to Montmartre, Champs Elysées, Eiffel tower and so much more.

I want to load him with warmth, memories, good feelings and love to take home with him.

Love you all , my dearest family

I know that I would give anything for a few weeks of such total pleasure that you two are having. I am enjoying your happiness thank you for sharing it with all of us.

Hermiliciouness & I are in Paris for the weekend. Yesterday we went to the Louvre. Missy thang couldn't keep her hands off the statues "private parts. When that girl sees a cock she goes straight for it, even if the damn thing is carved in stone. We saw the Mona Lisa, it was a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I am glad I saw that. Then we went back to the hotel, took care of our fur daughter & headed back out for some French food. YUM! After dinner we went by the Eiffel Tower to see it at night. Today we are going to take a bus tour of Paris & I am going to do some gift shopping for my Mom & sisters. We are having a blast. This is an experience I will never forget. Making memories with Hermie while we can. We I became disabled in 2002 I never thought that I would have gone on trips to Montreal, Brussels, Amsterdam, San Francisco & now Paris. Someday I will make it to London. I guess next will be Mexico City...

Love,

Dan
