Any news on the Queen front? Ain't like my home girl to go missing like this. Maybe it's time to get serious about contacting Queen?

Suggestions?
Hal

I emailed her earlier today; no answer yet. Cindy has been texting her; no answer yet.  :-\ She's been missing seven days now and you're right Hal, it's not like her at all:(

I'm ok just been keeping on the low side of things lately.

Talk too Lisa everyday. She is doing ok. Will be going down to see her next week also have a doctor appointment then also.

Jerry, thank you for the update on you and Lisa.  I'm glad you are in contact with each other and are both ok.

I'm adding  voice of concern about the Queen here.  Is there anyone who has ever visited her or lives near her and can check in on her?

Iggy, she just moved not too long ago.  Cindy did contact the two hospitals in her area though and she's not at either one.  Hopefully it's just a bad internet connection.

Thanks for the info on that and didn't realize she had recently moved.  I do hope it is nothing more than needing a new internet connection in her new place.

A week is enough time to go to an internet cafe and send SOMEONE something saying "Don't worry"

Hence, I'm a bit worried.  But I guess I shouldn't be.  Benj disappeared from here due to a computer issue, though you'd think by now he's have sorted that out.  Anyone here heard from him?  I think I learned of the computer thing from Boodles.

Ugh... MUST CALL BOODLES.  Speaking of, even though he's copiously banned, he's not returned my last email for a week.  Even more unusual considering the juicy gossip that was contained it.  Oh wait, didn't you talk to him Tim?

I talked to Boodles about two weeks ago now.  He's fine, and I wouldn't get too worried about it taking a week or two for him to get around to a reply.  Maybe longer.  He can get a little, um...delayed sometimes.

He's good.

Cindy (moonlight) called Queen's cellphone number and it rang and then there was a busy signal, like they do when they've been cut off  (the phone).  As far as going to a cybercafe, I know Queen has to take the bus where she goes and she loathes that because of her hearing loss, not being able to judge traffic etc.  So, that's the update on Queen.

Queen refused to get on the bus to go have her hearing aids checked, when she had one working, and from what I recall, I think both had stopped working.  So, no she won't get ona  bus to go to the library to even sign on for us peeps, lol.

Hello To ALL YOU SEXY BITCHES-----

Her Majesty is back!!!! I really do appreciate all the love and concern for me. It has touched me very deeply. To answer some of the questions I have seen thus far. Where have I been? In the hospital, I checked myself in for depression. I won't go into the gory details of what took place. I was there for about a week. I didn't have access to my computer of course and I had to shut my phone off. As for the deal with my hearing aid, well, I have one back, the left one and it is under a new warranty. My son took me there to get it and I took my other one in then. I am waiting for it to be repaired. I will go into more details about my feelings on things in my blog. But I just want to thank everyone for their concern about me. *Smooches to the ladies and a BIG GROPE to the fellas*

Wondered that myself just recently.  The resurgence of this thread has made me stop and take extra notice of who is and isn't around.

****My big personal alerts right now are Bucko and Craig (MrTallGuy).  I have left emails for Craig, but have yet to get a response.  I don't think he has been on here since about mid November.  If anyone has any additional info, I'd love to know.

Brooks' return was short & sweet.  Here's another blast from the past:  ChrisNArizona.  *Poof!*  ...vanished.

Ford? (GSOGymrat)

I'm back. I've been overwhelmed by work and such. My partner is having his 11th chemotherapy tomorrow. Only one more to go after that! We are optimistic his scans will reveal he has beat this thing. He is very sick of feeling sick.

I was working my full-time job plus a part-time job. Then my supervisor's 19-year-old daughter was killed in an auto accident and I was asked to take over her responsibilities. I really didn't want to do it but could not say no to someone whose daughter just died, especially since I'm the only one who knows how to do her job. So now I'm doing my counseling job, her management job and my part-time job with the county. I'm working 7 days a week and trying to support my partner. I have no time to exercise. I'm very stressed out and feel I'm doing nothing well. The light at the end of the tunnel is in sight though. My partner should finish his chemo in 3 weeks and my supervisor should return to work in a couple of months.

Sorry to hear that so much has been going on and my best wishes that your partner has indeed beaten it.

Regardless, Please force yourself to steal sometime for yourself somewhere (though I admit I have no idea where that will come from)

Does anybody know what ever happened to SF Scruff?

Last known to be offering himself as a host for SF AMG over a year ago.

Oh....and flirting back and forth with Doxie, who was calling him his forums BFF.  >:(

Hey where the hell Woods been? Anybody heard from him?

Sorry I missed your post until now. I got an e-mail from Woods two weeks ago. He's doing very well. He's going to be participating in the SF to LA AIDS Life Cycle Bike Ride from June 1 to June 7. He's going to be a "roadie," which means he'll be part of the support team for the riders. He'll be in San Francisco at the end of March for a training session, and we're planning to get together.

Where is Mattythedammned?
He posts like 100 posts a day and now has dissapeared for over a week? I hope he is on vacation and everything ok?

Again, I suggest you check Queen's closet and under her bed.  She's been very cheeky and equally quiet lately :P

Where's Patrick (ImagineFL)?

Where's SF Scruff?  ???

I still check in occasionally!  I have been so busy lately with school, work and starting my new business up.

I was engaged for about a month too Lee... then I broke it off because it wasn't fair to him when I still have so many feelings about Tony.  I explained this to him and told him that I needed time.

Tony is still in rehab up in New York, and can't take phone calls, but I hope he gets out in a week or two.  Now I just need to convince him to move back to Florida.   :-\

My new business is going pretty well.  I am trying to borrow money from individual capital investors to raise money for advertising.  The best thing of this whole venture is that I have been giving 25% of the profits to charities (America's Second Harvest Food Bank, St. Jude's, Tampa AIDS Network, etc).

I'll try to behave better and visit more often...

Love you all!
Patsy

I was thinking about a bunch of folks from years gone by here recently and hope they are all doing well...Thankfully Mike (et in arcadia ego) posted recently so it was good to see that...I still hope to make it up to Saratoga, NY one summer.

On our first AMG in Toronto I roomed with richfkc...I hope he is OK...And I'm sorry we don't hear anymore from most of our Canadian friends, Alan (doyourowndamndishes), Gregory Scott (I really cared for him and hope he is just busy and doing well)...We never hear from SAE or consumed and even  Canuck (Claude) rarely posts.

I know there were some problems here with Elizabeth (we hung out alot together in Nashville, I forget her handle here) but hopefully she is OK.

I don't get over to the blogs too often- I'm busy with work, weekends recovering from the job and the subways and trying to get to the gym and see friends from the neighborhood (Joe -not San Fran Joe- and Frank) and my mom and step-dad are really getting on in years as I found this past weekend on a visit and elder care will likely take up more and more of my time but I hope Jonathan is doing well down in Atlanta.  Haven't seen Lis or even Lisa post much recently, hope their health is holding up.

John (KC) and Trish- hope you guys are well and even though they are no longer members I do hope dear Moffie (Tim) and Bailey (dingo) are well.  I saw some posts recently from Joe Killfoile, that was good to see, hope he and Stephen are loving Montreal.  I also hope Brent (Bucko) is happy and healthy.

Also there is Steven (our nutrition and vitamin guy) who never posts anymore unless I missed something.  There are others from earlier years I'm sure I left out but I can't quite recall now.  A once excellent memory is still decent but not what it was.

And does anyone recall Mark (Marcus Maximus) - he was in Toronto with us and I believe he lived in Arizona.  He hasn't posted in several years...And Brian's friend Glenda in Tennessee- remember her great laugh?

But I do hope they are all well and happy!!!

Jodala,

I can tell you that Daddy Tim (Moffie) and Bucko are still in circulation and doing well. Timmy is as belligerent and cantankerous as he's ever been. The cranky old sod will bury us all.

From time to time I hear from Et In Arcadia Ego (Mike) -- he's still the absolute gentleman, dedicated Wobbly and all round good egg he's always been.

Occasionally I have the pleasure to hear from Jonathan. He's doing as well as can be expected.
