PMMA injected into temple areas

I had PMMA injections done in May 2007 at Clinic'estetica in Tijuana.  I am very happy with results still.  The only issue I had was a few small lumps in the temples.  They were not visible but I could feel them by touch.  Lately, usually after a workout and when eating something hard to chew like a Powerbar, the muscles in my temples tighten up and I feel pressure build up.  It does not give me headaches just sore muscle type feeling in my temples.  Has anyone had anything like this with the injections in the temples?  Is it anything to be concerned about? Thanks.

Hey Tex, why don't you shoot the clinic the same inquiry.........or give them a call.
Did they administer ultrasound after they injected the product?

Hey thanks...Yes, they did do an ulrtasound at the time of the procedure to smooth out the areas.  I did send the clinic an email on it and they responded yesterday.  They had not heard of any cases like I had described.  They thought it could be caused by teeth grinding at night and told me to check with my dentist.  I may be making a connection where none exists...just curious if anyone else had the same situation.

You may have TMJ.  I had a minor case of it.  In fact, my entire lower jaw has slightly shifted forward.  It's fine now, but it was really painful when I would eat anything solid or chewy... especially nuts, raw carrots, etc.  The pain was just below the temple where the upper and lower jaws connect.

I'd always had a habit of jaw clenching that I had to break in order for it to finally go away.  Took around six months for it to finally go away.
