I have had unprotected sex, and now Im paying for it. I was recently diagnosed with HIV. my numbers were pretty high the first test out, but my t cells are sort of okay. I just had a lot of oral sex with a guy I really like. Mostly nipple sucking (who cares) but I also went down on him with my mouth orally and analy.....is he at risk from me?  If I were to sallow him, would he catch this from me?

No, oral sex is not a risk and you've been told that in another forum you've been posting in. Before you even ask you must advise the person that you are HIV positive before you have any sexual relations with them.

Since you were diagnosed as HIV+, what conversation have you had with a doctor? One of the most important things in staying healthy is for you to have a good partnership with your doctor. You want someone of whom you can ask questions and get answers.

Getting a doctor will help you to get some structure in terms of adjusting to living with HIV. Right now you maybe feeling very overwhelmed by the newness of your diagnosis. Gradually you're going to learn everything you need to in order to stay healthy.

You're welcome here to ask questions and to discuss anything that's on your mind. Read the various lessons. I think you'll find some useful information about relevant issues including disclosure of your HIV status.

Keep breathing and gradually you're going to see that life is going to go on.

Welcome!

Cheers,
Andy Velez
