Atripla dreams
« on: October 18, 2009, 02:09:02 pm »
I have read many times about people who cant tolerate Atripla and the dreams and sleep problems that come with the medication . Not me ... I love my Atripla dreams .

Last night after polishing off two double cheese burgers and fries right before bed I had a dream that made me wake up laughing my ass off .
I was standing on the porch with some friends when a car pulls into my drive and Cher gets out and runs to give me a kiss and a hug . She had dropped by to show me her new figure as she had been at the gym working out getting in shape for a tour . All my friends were really impressed and making a fuss over how good she looked ... not me though . I was horribly embarrassed for her and was the only one who noticed that she had cankles , not just fat ankles but huge hairy fat cankles !!! .

Interesting.  I was only on Sustiva a very short time, but I think that was the period when I had a rather similar dream.  I was in a hammock with Madonna, and we were in Janet Jackson's front yard and singing "Rhythm Nation" really, really loud and cackling wildly throughout.  Janet kept coming to the front window and getting mad.  However, I don't recall any double cheeseburgers but naturally I'm a huge fan of this delight.

btw, do you have Five Guys where you live?  It's quickly become the only burger for me:  http://www.fiveguys.com/

Oh good -- please be sure and report back.  Seriously they great burgers, and the toppings are very fresh.  The fries are hand cut and cooked in peanut oil.

Five Guys started in Northern Virginia where I grew up, but only recently began to open a lot of nationwide franchise locations.  We just got one in Philly downtown a couple of years ago.

You two gave me a good laugh with your strange dreams. I get strange dreams too and I'm not even on Sustiva. The other night I was having a strange, but enjoyable dream when my daughter came home and slammed the front door (she has a door-slamming habit) and woke me up. I wasn't happy that she interrupted my dream, so I went out into the hallway and started telling her off. Or so I thought. I'd actually dreamed that she woke me up and I woke up to find myself sitting up in bed, shouting. :D My daughter wasn't even home, she'd stayed the night at a mate's house.

Luckily, when I went back to sleep, I went right back into the enjoyable dream. That doesn't happen too often!

LOL ... I know what you mean Ann . I think one reason I enjoy the Sustiva dreams is because I have always had bizarre dreams anyway . I can sometimes even control what is happening in them because some how although asleep I still know I'm dreaming . Last night I redecorated an old house boat all night .

Yeah, me too -- I've always had very vivid dreams so when I went on Sustiva none of that stuff really bothered me.  I can have nuclear holocaust dreams and still function the next day.

I had to go for a vision consult for lasik today . It was very near Fiveguys and I was so ready for a burger . Lasik Plus refused to do the surgery because I'm poz ... they never even asked If I was healthy , my status was enough for them . I didn't much feel like a burger after that but the day is young . I thought of you today also and will now everytime I eat a burger LOL .

Well, that sucks about the eye doctor mess.  That's rather squeamish and lame of them.  If you lived up here I could take you to the esteemed century old Wills Eye Hospital downtown (ranked #3 nationally!).  They love us AIDS folks.

Doctors useally love cash paying patients so this one must have squeamish to the max LOL .

I found a doctor just minutes ago who will do the procedure if he believes I'm a good candidate for a favorable outcome .

Shout out to Birmingham Aids outreach for the referral !!!
