can sovaldi be purchased in bkk? $? anywhere else in the world? if so, is anyone doing that yet? muling in meds?

what laws are at play if i did something like that? how far out would i be sticking my neck?

in the US, its $1000 per pill, x a 90 day treatment. i have read anecdotal things i'm not sure i believe that there are places in the world you can buy the whole treatment supply for $2000 usd

just looking for some truth to that

When I lived in San Diego there were bus's full of senior citizens who came to the border every month to cross over and buy prescription meds . I'm not sure how legal it was but it was done right in the open and there was no doubt what they were there for .

A course of personal medication is far different than importing them in mass to distribute .

"...India, Egypt and Brazil have secured access to Sovaldi, the incredibly effective, but also incredibly expensive hepatitis C treatment, for one percent of its cost in America. The 12-week treatment program that runs U.S. insurance companies $84,000 per cycle, will be just $840 in those nations. Burma, Kenya, Mozambique and Iran will pay slightly more: $900 for the full treatment program, or 1.1 percent of the standard price...."

if i were to do this for someone, should they involve their ID Dr? i would want that, but at that point wouldn't want further criminal risk

What is discussed in the consulting room is confidential .

I would make it very plain to the Doctor that no way would I do anything to incriminate them.

The doc would be committing career self harm in the US , I would imagine if they where publically connected to such an enterprize.

My Biggest concern in such an enterprize would be how do I ensure I am buying the real thing and not a false batch/ Out of date , counterfeit. And that is one off the areas I would want to discuss with my ID Doctor, but I would prepare the ground with them first.
