Title: Yes Dorothy there are Fairies in the Arctic!
Post by: CitizenWill on July 29, 2010, 12:49:25 pm
Hello,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been lurking for many years and thought it was about time to say hello.

My name is Will and I have been poz since 1991. I went full blown 3 years ago after a bout of Toxo that almost killed me.

I live in the Western Arctic of Canada and wanted to make some new friends. There are only 16,000 people here and a 15 hour drive to the closest large city. So the nearest gays are a long way away. Just lots of married closet cases up here. lol..

I have been on disability for the last year because of PN and early dementia and depression. I am still trying to adjust to my new life without working and have taken up traveling to amuse myself.

Anyway I am rambling now.

Will

Welcome Will . I used to live in the back woods of Alabama and found this site a great way to stay in touch with my fellow pozzies .

Welcome Will!  Traveling and chatting with other folks on line sounds like a good way to adjust!

Hey Will,

Welcome from a fellow Canadian, Montreal here. I am disabled due to depression, so if you need to talk...

Look forward to hearing more about you.

From one Will to another...WELCOME!

The Western Arctic of Canada sounds so romantic, although I'm sure it does get lonely.

You have many buddies here :)

Thanks Folks for the warm welcome.

Sorry for the late reply but after I posted this I tried to change my email address on my account and got locked out for a few days. Hope nobody thought I was being a snot.

Lol... no not me on Ice Road truckers but I do know half the guys.

I'm glad I found this forum makes one feel not so alone.

Cheers!

Will

CitizenWill,  Are you on meds and if so where did you find an ID doctor?

Hi BillyB,

Yes I am on meds. my ID doctor is in Edmonton, AB. I take a two hour flight to see her every 4 months or so.
