Pedro,

You don't need to be worried. You cannot get HIV from giving oral sex to a woman or receiving oral sex from a woman.

Your test results show that you do not have HIV because you were never at risk in the first place.

Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and follow the links to our Lessons to learn more about how HIV is and is not transmitted.

Pedro,

You are not a late seroconverter, and your sexual encounter the with sex worker was protected.

You don't have HIV.

Listen to Matty..you do not have HIV, if you still have a rash then talk to your Doctor.

Only a small group of people seroconvert after the 13 week window period, this group includes those who are receiving immuno-suppressive therapy after transplant procedures, cancer patients who are receiving chemotherapy and long term injecting drug users.

Pedro,

Please calm down. Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV infection. You were not exposed to the virus therefore you cannot be HIV positive.

I know you say you read English well, but perhaps you might like to read our Lecciones en Espanol.

Hi matty,
thanks a lot. Thanks all for reply.
no, i cant read espanol, sorry. I Underdtand English, but i have problems with write this.
you understand my English?

1. Are you sure that a Influenza ( 4 days) with small rash on belly and fiver and 1day for only one time i have diarehoea at the first day of Influenza and one Lymph-glaud in the neek was pain, that is not a acute-hiv-syndroms?
The rush is going back 2 weeks later Influenza.

2. When a man (+) Infekt a women (-) with sperm in vagina, there is a lot of virus at the begining and the replycation is faster, i mean. Right?
But wenn i was infektet with very slow virusload by the oralsex by the women (i make oral by the sexworker (päh! I so stupid), i have a very little Infekt. Is it posible that the virusrepli is slower and i have my acute-hiv-sydroms 7,5 weeks later riskday, and so i was Not seroconvert (antibodies in my blood) 11 weeks and 1 day (78 days) later?
is this posible?

3. The last 7 weeks i hava a candida on my dick ( is dick korrect, duno), can make this Infekt a late seroconvertion?

4. Oral by women is a risk, but minimal risk, but its a risk. I have read this in the Internet.
and i not sure the condom by make sex was corect or was not Intakt. I have not controll this after the sex.

Thanks for yor reply. I am psychic totaly on bottom.

Pedro,

Please accept my apologies for presuming that you were a spanish speaker. I took a guess based on your user name.

Your symptoms are not related to HIV, because you were not exposed to the virus.

YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV. YOU ARE HIV NEGATIVE

If you feel ill, see your doctor.

Pedro,

Giving a woman oral sex is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Getting your dick sucked is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Protected intercourse is NOT a risk for hiv infection.

You have not had a risk for hiv infection. Your negative test results are NOT going to change as a result of this encounter. YOU DO NOT HAVE HIV.

Keep using those condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will remain hiv negative. Please read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

You do NOT have hiv!

Because you seem so caught up in worrying about your symptoms I just want to add my voice to those who have told you that you weren't at risk for HIV in the incident you told us about. Nothing you did put you at risk for HIV transmission. Period.

Your symptoms? That's something to discuss with your doctor. You are totally mistaken in thinking they have anything to do with HIV. Whatever is causing them is NOT HIV.

We often find that when a man has been with a sex worker he mistakenly thinks that has put him at greater risk. And some men have shame about having been with a woman who is a professional. The truth is that it doesn't matter whom you are with. It's what you do. And nothing you did put you at risk for HIV.

This is NOT an HIV situation. Period. End of story.

Talk to your doctor.

Yes, your test was enough. You are HIV negative. Period.

If the condom had broken you would have known. It does not happen with little itty bitty holes the way people often think. When a condom fails it's quite clear because it ends up looking like a fringed hoop on your penis. So your worries about not having check the condom afterwards are totally irrelevant.

Tell your mind to give it a rest and get on with your life.

ARS occurs when the body is marshalling its defense against the invasion by the HIV virus. So you are mixing up the two things. What you are talking about is seroconversion which is when the person would manifest the symptoms known as ARS. The average time to seroconversion is 22 days. All but the very smallest number of those who are going to seroconvert will do so within 4-6 weeks after an exposure to the HIV virus.

Pedro,

If your illness had anything to do with hiv, you would have tested positive when you tested at 78 days.

You ARE hiv negative. No surprise there, as you did NOT have a risk!

If you've read the Welcome Thread like you're supposed to, you will have read the following:

Quote
Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Pedro,

Andy has already answered your question.

Your test was done at very nearly twelve weeks. Twelve weeks is the window period for hiv testing in Europe. If you cannot bring yourself to believe that you had no risk and your result is not going to change, then test again at 84 days, collect your negative result and move on with your life.

However, you will not be permitted to use this forum to keep asking the same questions over and over again. Re-read the replies you have already been given until you understand. There's not much more we can do for you here.

Pedro,

Hiv transmission doesn't stand a chance of happening via female genitals to mouth - there are just too many obstacles on the oral route.

The first obstacle is the mouth itself. The mouth is a veritable fortress, standing against all sorts of pathogens we come into contact with every minute of our lives. It's a very hostile environment and saliva has been shown to contain over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv.

Hiv is a very fragile virus - literally. Its outer surface doesn't take kindly to changes in its preferred environment; slight changes in temperature, moisture content and pH levels all damage the outer surface. Importantly, it needs this outer surface to be intact before it can latch onto a few, very specific cell types and infect.

Which leads to the second obstacle. Hiv can only latch onto certain types of cells, cells which are not found in abundance in the mouth.

The third obstacle to transmission this way is having hiv present in the first place. The female secretion where hiv has been shown to be present is the cervicovaginal fluid. This fluid is actually a thick mucus that covers and protects the cervix.

The fluid a woman produces when sexually excited comes from the Bartholin's glands, located on either side of the vaginal opening. I have yet to discover one shred of evidence (and believe me, I've looked) that shows this lubricating fluid to have any more hiv present than other bodily secretions such as saliva, sweat or tears. Saliva, sweat and tears are NOT infectious fluids.

So there you have it. Once the results of the serodiscordant studies started rolling in, what we know about hiv transmission on the cellular level was validated. The serodiscordant studies showed that the only people who were getting infected were those who had unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse. Period. One of the three studies went on for ten years and involved hundreds of couples. That's a lot of nookie.

You did NOT have a risk. Please remember the warning I gave you earlier today about posting over a no-risk incident.

Pedro,

Go see a doctor about your weight loss. Whatever is causing it is NOT hiv. You did not have a risk and you do not have hiv.

Post again about your no-risk situation and I will give you that time out I warned you about. You do not have hiv.

Hello all,

I was going to an specialist and he tell me that i hava a orale candida in my mounth.
This thing in mounth hava only hiv-peaple, or people with an  bottom immunsytem or old peoples.

So i hava make another Test (91 days after risk). Iam becom the result this week.

Late seroconvertion you say only chemo, or transplant, or drugs.
What for drugs?
I have drinking the last 5 years a lot of alcohol and 2 pack cigarets the day.
The last year i have drink one bottle wiskey at the week.
The last 80 days i never drink alcohol, but i smoke cigarets alot for my fear and the Last 80 days i consume diazepam for sleeping. Do you think what is diazepam?
are you sure that alcohol, cigarets and diazepam do not causage a late seroconvertion?
have you hear about a late seroconvertion after 3 month andy and all you in this Forum???

Please reply me. I have fear for all ms Symptomes and yet a diagnosis with the oral candida.

Who told you that only people that have HIV get Thrush? That's total B.S.. What are you being tested for? If you are being tested for HIV you're wasting your money because you have never had a risk. Nothing that you have mentioned will be a cause for a later seroconversion. Now you're going to be waiting an awful long time for seroconversion to happen to you when you were never at risk. It's time that you move on with your life.

Pedro,

You did not have a risk for hiv infection and so your latest test result will be no different to your other test results - negative. You do not have hiv.

I'm giving you that time out you've been warned about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.
