If a condom breaks is it complete and very noticeable or could you just get a small tear /rip on the tip?

You will know a condom failed without a doubt.

Small tears or holes are myths. When a condom fails it's very, very apparent because the whole thing ends up looking like a fringed hoop on your penis. So you would have definitely known if that happened.

Cheers.

Hello had protected sex with condommbut noticed afterwars I had a herpes (HSV2) outbreak on shaft not covered by condom which may have rolled up a bit .I this an HIV concen if some of her fluids got on it,or even when the bottom part of my shaft entered the beginning of her vagina .Im thinking maybe my thrusting could draw dow the fluids from deeper inside and maybe get on my outbreak or even when it entered the entrance.Like I say this part where the outbreak is was not covered

The shaft is not the part of the penis which is vulnerable to HIV transmission. It's the urethra and the foreskin if you're not circumcised. You were not at greater risk for transmission and the condom will have protected you effectively.

Unfortunately the same can't be said for your partner with regard to herpes. When you are having an active outbreak of herpes it means that your partner would definitely be vulnerable to catching it. Even skin to skin contact would be enough and certainly during intercourse the risk would be high. You ought to keep that in mind when you're having sex.

I don't see any cause for concern about HIV in relation to this incident you're concerned about.

Thnaks I just thought that if some of the fluid got on an open sore it was a risk...Like I said the condom covered the head of my penis effectively

I would never have sex if I knew I had an outbreak..I only noticed after

So I do not need to worry about testing then

No need for testing, although we do recommend that anyone who's sexually active ought to have a full STI panel done regularly -- at least annually.

Got a blowjob from a girl just before she had been drinking and had thrown up and been sick, would this have increased the risk for hiv if there could have been blood in her mouth where she was sick or made her mouth more sensitive thopugh didnt see any blood also she rubbed mt penis on her vagina didnt think it went it but was near her vagina,I have had hepes on my penis in the past but there wasnt any sore I could see though I had a slare up about a month before

No guy has ever gotten infected with HIV from a blowjob and you aren't going to be the first. It doesn't matter what she had in her mouth -- blood, sperm from another guy or whatever. A blowjob is not a risk for HIV. Period.

As for your penis rubbing against her vagina, that's another non-risk as long as there was no penetration. There is a very real difference between rubbing and penetration.

She's the one who was risk for herpes from you. Even without an outbreak you can pass it along so you should always be using condoms for your partner's sake. And of course always using a condom for both vaginal and anal intercoourse. No exceptions.

Cheers.

Like I said I had a flare up of herpes maybe a month before but no sores at time of rubbing and dont belive there was penetration only rubbing but my tip was close and she was very wet so may have very slighlty dipped in but only the tip and just by the entrance I though the infectious fluids were deep in the vagina

If a woman is HIV+ the fluids which would contain HIV are in the cervical area, way further up from the vaginal lips you were rubbing against.

But remember that rubbing is different than dipping. So don't play around without a condom on if you're going to be in doubt about what you're doing. It doesn't sound like you did anything risky but HIV is not something to guess about.

Ok Im a little confused lke I said it was just the tip at the opening ,was just a little rubbing but certianly didnt go in just maybe entered a litle around the lips and some fluid got on my shaft where previously I had an outbreak but no sore present at time like I said

If you were just at the lips then there was no risk. Only you can know if there was actual penetration.
It doesn't sound to me from what you have said that there was penetration. Rubbing at the lips is NOT penetration.

Fluid on your shaft is not a risk for transmission. HIV is a fragile virus and is not transmitted in that manner.

Nothing you've said suggests to me that testing is necessary. Give it up and get on with your life.

You are worrying needlessly. This is one of those what if situations that is only about fears and not anything based in HIV-science and a real risk such as in a healthcare setting.

There's no need for testing nor for further concern on your part.

What Rod means is if you insist on asking question about a NON-RISK situation you will be banned, and that is exactly where you are heading if you don't listen to the advise we are giving you.

People who suffer from Anorexic do not throw up because they do not eat...it's those who suffer from Bulimia who induce vomiting....but even so there is still no risk, so stop coming up with stories that mean nothing and make no sense.

This is your last warning...seriously.

Timmy,

You've already been repeatedly told that getting your dick sucked is NOT a risk for hiv infection. It doesn't matter if she swallowed, spit, or saved it for a milkshake later. NO RISK.

I'm giving you that second time out you've been warned about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out because if you do, you will be permanently banned.
