G'day AM Family

I hope that wherever you are in the world you're having a wonderful day.
It's great to hear from more family members. A special welcome to our friends from Zimbabwe and Germany !! We've now heard from folks from 14 countries and the Kingdom of the Isle of Mann.

I've been very heartened to read posts from everyone. I live in a little beach town on the south coast of Australia. Reading your posts lets me know that I am connected to a world of kind, compassionate, humorous and loving people all of whom share the status of HIV/AIDS. I'm touched by the grace and spirit of all of you and eagerly await reading about/from you on other threads. Now we all can have a greater sense of where we live.

Cheers

Guess I'll add another state. College Park, Maryland here...right by University of Maryland, College Park and 30 minutes north and south of DC & Baltimore, respectively. For those of you wondering, our school mascot is the Terrapin and thus my screen name (terpie) is derived from it. :)

Paul: thank you so much for this post.     Now in Palm Harbor, FL (one mile from the Gulf, a spit across the bay to Tampa, and drive to St. Petersburg to work)
( Ray, ever go to Molly Goodhead's in Ozona?)  thanks, again, chris

Well Hello Chris !!  Small world !!

For all the years I have lived down here, I have only been to Molly Goodheads once. And if I remember rightly, I had the grouper sandwich... Which was pretty good.

Have you ever been to the "Thirsty Marlon  In old downtown Palm Harbor ?? Totally excellant. You don't walk out of that place hungry.

One thing for sure. In this area, there are sooooo many restaurants, and you can"t beat the prices. It's too competative.

Another place we enjoy, is Spoto's  on main st. In Dunedin.

Take care Chris !!------------------Ray 8)

Hello everyone

Welcoming our AM Family here from the many places we're located around the planet.
Thanks so much for the terrific response to this thread. It's been really fun to read posts from folks from so many far flung (and in some cases nearby to one another) cities, towns, burbs and hamlets.
On this cold rainy morning (Yay we need the rain here in the bush) in my little town on the south coast of Australia, I feel more strongly connected to our AM Family. Some how, reading where we all are from and in some cases where we've been, helps me realize the Global family we are.

At last count we had AM Forum Family members from 14 countries and 32 states from within the USA. Roundabout 105 individuals wrote in to say where they're from. I hope everyone has found this interesting and fun !!! I sure have. I'll check back from time to time as folks may still chime in.

All the best
in Peace and Love
Paul

Paul: Molly's is great for their wings, too!  And the Thirsty Marlin is tops!  For expensive, I love the Black Pearl (I think that's the name) next to Kelly's in Dunedin.  BUt, for really wonderul, have to tried Ciello's in Safety Harbor? It's small and reservations are definately a must and you have to bring you own wine or beer, but the owners, Sue and Ellen, make me laught all the time!

Somehow, let's just keep in touch.

Jae, I grew up about 40 miles west of Jacksonville in Sampson Co., NC, in a small crossroad town called Delway.  Nothing much there anymore.  I was going to ask if you were in the Marines...most people end up in J'ville for that reason, as I am sure you know.

Dear AM Forum Family

A big hearty Thank You again for the huge response to this 'where do you live' thread !!! It has been wonderful to hear from so many folks from so many far flung spots around the globe. As I live my quiet days here in my little beach hamlet, especially quiet during these winter months, I feel very much connected to your kind voices mostly from great distances from where I dwell. It seems that some of you are living quite close to one another and perhaps this has helped you make a personal connection with other AM Family members. That would be a wonderful outcome from this thread.

I hope that overtime more folks will chime in and say g'day wherever you are living.
Till next time ,  take good care everyone.

With Peace and Love
Paul

Hi Paul & everyone ´round, I live in Argentina, South America- the capital city of Buenos Aires, downtown area (my neighborhood is San Telmo). A  touristic corridor, full of europreans, americans, brazilians and so on. Looks a lot like Europe, or so they say.

Hi Uberk9 & Macbett and the other new folk here. It's great to have some more family members from the Southern Hemisphere.

Welcome to our Forums family !!!

We are indeed a global family and are glad that you are here for info and support. Please feel free to share your story, ask questions, or just hang out. I think we are at our best, a good source of information and support. Remember that though we are scattered about the world we do care about you and want to hear from you.

in Peace and Love
Paul
