Chris,

Glad to hear Christine doesn't have meningitis and I hope they get her red blood cell count up to normal quickly!  Fevers be gone!  Blood pressure stabilize!!  Christine get home as soon as you can!  Hospitals are places to get out of!

Well, I just got back from the hospital and things are looking better! It looks like she is just having a very bad reaction to her new meds. The meningitis tests came back negative, and she is feeling better. They think it was the AZT that caused most of this. Her red blood cell count is very low along with her blood pressure, and she is still getting fevers. She still has some recovery to go through, but at least it doesn't appear to be an OI. She thanks everyone here for your support and looks forward to writing her own posts soon.

-Chris

Thanks for the update Chris.  Glad to hear that things are getting better.
