« on: March 22, 2008, 04:32:10 pm »
First off, im in a trial for a new version of Viramune, coupled with Truvada. Because im on this trial and its free meds and doc visits its like 2 times a month for the first bit then once a month, then every 3, then every 6. It is supposed to last 2 3/4 years. I just entered the once a month stage. Also the trial sends only my vl test to a lab in england so it takes a while for them to get back. . thats why theres the ??

OK
My last visits have been good, i have more energy and obviously a stronger immune system now that i am on these pills. The last time i went my cd4 went down and i thought that was bad  but my percentage (which i just started asking about btw) went up? whats up with that. . . did my number just get better or worse??

and is being on a trial better or should i buy pills. . . coz i have really good insurance so if i can get better drugs if i buy them instead of this trial my doc wants me in i would totally do that. . . .

opinions?

Audio, if your percentage went up, that means your body is handling this situation (HIV+ et al) extremely well.  I'm glad you're feeling good also.  As to whether or not to buy the meds or continue with the study, I really don't have advice.  It's your decision.  Stay well.
