Hi everyone,
Bloody hell, I turn my back and another year has passed and you're all off to the AMG again....and I won't be there...boo hoo :'(
Still, I'm not going to whinge too much 'caus I just had a fantastic 10 days with our girl in N.Z.....lots of shopping and lunches.
I was a bit worried about the weather but it turned out that Perth was miserable...wet,windy and cold.....and we were just a bit cold.
How amazing is Jan? She didn't even know I was coming and she fixed the weather just like that.... :D
Anyway, to David and David and to Ric and Thom.......happy,happy anniversary. I believe there might be a spot of climbing to celebrate.
Can't wait to see the pics of that.
Mark... I wonder what hat you'll buy this year? You'll have the whole back seat to yourself if it's a big sombrero... ;D
Creighton...I'm sure you'll be able to come up with a siutable AMG cocktail....he who gets the worm wins! (pardon my ignorance but does one get to eat
the famous worm?)
Rocky, Jody, Robert and Cliff.....I'm relying on you lot to keep our girl from being kidnapped by gun-toting banditos and whisked off into the desert
to be the pampered mistress of the infamous Pedro Gonzales...but wait! I can see a great novel in this....and we could all be rich......
mmmm.......Do you happen to know any gun-toting banditos?
To all my friends from the last two gatherings and to those of you going for the first time....you are so-o-o-o lucky!

Aw, Jen, it's not going to be the same without you! I'm sorry you won't be able to make it, and deep down I'm hoping you're just pulling our legs, and you'll show up after all.
One does get to eat the worm of mescal. I've never done so, but I hear tell it has hallucingenic effects. I suppose by the time you get to the bottom of the bottle, you're pretty much there anyway.

Sounds like an excellent idea to me. I'll check the yellow pages when I get there to see if any banditos are listed! ;)
Sorry you won't be there this time, I hear they've got strip clubs with naked guys if that matters!

I'm going to miss you and john too. What? no world-wide tour this year? You better get yourselves some boy-bands to work with. They're always good for a one-time whirl-around.

She wants the banditos to kidnap Jan, scuddle her off to be the pampered mistress of PG!
That's what is going to produce the multi-million dollar book deal!

I was going to go off and write a hundred lines "I will not be silly"
Now where were we? She doesn't like smelly ones so look for clean-cut, non-stink'n, nice, semi-banditos with pretty horses.
That should cover all bases. ;D

Creighton......I've also been secretly hoping I might wake up in Mexico city but alas, the teleport booth is broken.
