There was a thread on here from Jerry asking the names of people who are going to AMG. That's swell and all...but are we going to wearing tags or something or what? It occured to me that, even though I know the names of many of the folks on here, I'm going to be seriously fighting the temptation to call Jan "annie" half the time.
Even worse, just knowing the names of people, I'm still going to have troubles keeping people sorted- especially since I will be placing names with faces for a bunch of you for the first time. As dumb as as it may sound, in my head I sorta see Lucas Clay as that bum from Aqualung. I won't know Milker unless he walks around with a face mask on.
And damned if I don't half-way expect in the back of my head for Rapid Rod to walk up and shake a paw.

But that is what AMG is all about the surprise. We were surprised last year in Montreal with seeing Emeraldize everyone said who is that. She is Ann here on the forums not Ann the Moderator. I can remember my very first time I got the chance to meet some of the guys here in Nashville and the first person I ran into at the hotel was Alan aka alabama. We were just 14 of us there and we were name tags first night but that did not last long after we got through huging everyone sand getting to know them it was easy. This year might be different with over 50 of us going but the first day is a blast then again everyday will be a blast. ::)

I envy you guys! Having just gotten on here the last week of June, I was late to finding out about the AMG. I have made so many friends and would love to meet all of you next year! Have a blast in SF! And Timtation, if I was there I would take good care of you so you wouldn't get lost, lol! We could put the harness on you, and lead you around, if Jerry was willing to share.....

T'was AMG time and all through the hotel
High Fivers were drinking and raising some hell
After meet and greet parties with food and elixirs,
T'was Jerry on Hunter, on Milker and Blixer!
Soon Rico joined in and nothing could stop her
She had a gut full of booze and a nose full of poppers
Should I go on...?

I am eating Chinese food and Nadine says thunter mentions you in a thread, come look.
so i start over with the plate of food and i think no put the food down. Good thing after reading that i would be cleaning the monitor, picking the eggfoo young off of it.
no food or drink when reading something from Tim, had coffee coming out of my nose once from him.
