New labs, same old mixed bag

I recently celebrated the second annHIVersary of my diagnosis with a new set of labs.  The good news of course is that I have a second consecutive 'undetectable' result under my belt.  Hopefully I'm finally over that hump.

Not so good is that there is still no breakthrough on CD4 count.  The problem there seems to be chronically low white blood cell count, currently at 3.4 with 4.5 - 11.0 as normal.  But check out that sexy CD4 % -- yowza!

Dr. L spent over an hour with me, mainly discussing the possibility of dropping the boosted Reyataz from my regimen.  He eventually advised against it, because a; I'm having no discernable side effects from my regimen, and if I make a change and the viral load rebounds then I would have to change the entire regimen, and b; I'm having unprotected sex with my boyfriend who is also HIV-positive, and not yet on meds...and we both also sometimes play with others.

So for now I continue mostly 'as is', and wait to see what the future brings.  One minor change is that Dr. L has recommended my next labs in four months rather than three.  Another is that I've been inspired to change my sig.  Otherwise life goes on as before.

well at least ur viral load is undetec. cd4 count sometimes doesnt go up... even with an undetec viral load, might be something else in ur body or the viral set point was too high.
