Back home.
« on: August 29, 2011, 05:50:39 pm »
After 28 hours and 5 planes I finally made it home last night.

It was great seeing the old friends again and meeting new ones, Seattle was just wonderful.

Gary did (as always) an amazing job at the Memorial Service, our dearest Carl was given a special mention, it was a very emotional times for all those who knew and loved him.

Jg1962 for those who have never met him, is tall dark and very handsome, Buckmark hasn't changed or aged a bit since I last saw him 4 years ago.

If I name each and everyone of you I would be here all day, and I'm too knacked for that, but I will say seeing the old group was and always is the highlight of my AMG..but I have admit Jg1962 and Henry made this old heart leap many times.

It was also great meeting Mike's partner at last, he is a wonderful man and fitted right in with everyone from day one.

OK I had a blast in Seattle but it's back to normal now and time to go and feed my babies.

BTW..I will be away again for 4 days I'm flying off to the North Island in two days to talk at a Nurses Conference, but will be back on the 5th,..so catch up with you all again then.

He did indeed!  His eloquence as well as his powerful message exceeded any expectation I had for my first Memorial.

It was great to see you as well Jan, I think I'm suffering from post-partum depression after leaving Seattle, I had a great time as always with old friends and new!

Love ya,

Jan,

It was wonderful seeing you again.  Sid loved meeting you - said I described you perfectly......  well, except for the "vodka night".

Glad you made it home safely -- and already heading out again....  goodness, you'll do anything to leave hubby with all the chores (and the credit card bill).

Hugs,
Mike

I'm glad you made it home safely, Jan.  You must have a very trusty broom!  ;)

It was a joy to see you again.
