This is so like 6 months ago ...  ::)

Is it? My lesbian friend in Seattle just sent to me by text and she's usually very on top of these things.

ps: the video is 4 months old via TVNorge, the Norwegian television station so I kind of doubt your trollypolly claim ::)

You're being very contrarian vitrae today, I see. Good thing I'm seeing my therapist in 45 minutes so I can discuss this with her.

Rachel Maddow said this?
sure! it's a mistake (often promoted by the right) to believe that MSNBC and it's on-air personalities don't at times take exception to the policies of President Obama. Maddow, Ed Scholtz, Chris Matthews, and Al Sharpton have all criticized the POTUS. Heck most liberals complain about the POTUS - for not being more progressive, not closing Gitmo, not stopping the Patriot Act, etc.

Quite frankly there's a lot the left faults the POTUS for; but when you compare that against what all the POTUS has accomplished, the liberal criticisms aren't all that important. When you compare the media reports about what the POTUS (and the Dems) have accomplished against the media reports about the ineffectual, non-productive, purely obstructionist Republicans, well then I can see how it might seem to some like the liberal talking heads never speak badly about the POTUS.

Ford you consistently find interesting stuff , this piece is moving, very sad, American High school is so often portrayed as competition gone nuts , leaving people with a life long connection to it either off loss and longing or joy at having escaped . I find the idea off life reaching its peak at 16 to 18 unbarably sad. I am wondering if any High School aristocrats will come across it , hopefully in the company off a geek gay cousin .

She has a new album that confuses me:
no duh! while it may be fine for critics to think it tres cool for Sophie to wanderlust off down some new path, after a couple rounds of listening to the disc, I simply went back to my old playlist of her songs.

I just never have liked for my pop/dance icons to go off some path of their own. Who cares about your creativity (LOL) I want the old Prince, the old George Michaels, and the old Sophie. Hey! The Pet Shop Boys learned this lesson. They put out that lovely dirge of a disc and before a yr was out debutted another album full with dance/pop/electronic hits - and rumors of another 1 or 2 discs of similar material. Now if only Prince would leave this rock-n-roll girlie group with three eyes LOL and get back to working on another 1999, well, that would be heaven for me.

i hadn't seen that yet. The handclaps still kind of creep me out at the first, maybe even more seeing them. LOL  but the ashes-to-ashes sample makes me happy.

I do love the album version. then again Bowie is there in my pantheon of the top 5 (rounded out by Prince, NIN, Pet Shop Boys, Madonna) so I would have liked this regardless. LOL
