SSDI Denial, covered by APIC but limited dental?

 :-[ I have an issue where I have been on APIC in Upstate New York, which includes ADAP's "basic dental". I have not worked in over a year, I have "0" income and at 47 yrs old I've sold all my belongings and moved in with my 70 yr old mother. My recent SSDI application was denied and awaiting appeal, and my "recent dental" visit included a series of extractions to make room for two partials, but now they tell me those aren't covered by ADAP. The dental director told me to apply for medicaid, that they would cover it... and I'm at my wits end! My peripheral neuropathy is stress induced and I wanna scream. Can anyone help me with this question? Medicaid?

I don't believe that ADAP covers partials or bridges; however, the upstate suny hospital in syracuse may approve it.  I don't know where you go, but check that out.  I also am in upstate New York.
