Title: woman problems
Post by: wolfter on January 15, 2011, 05:28:23 pm
I think I created a can of worms.  My brother is the commander of our local veterans club and I'm an auxillary member and have been hanging out there more than I thought I would.  Several months ago I met the sweetest lady there and have really enjoyed hanging out with her at the club.  I just assumed she knew I was gay.  Someone mentioned to me that it looked like she's enterested in me and of course I laughed.  She just called and pretty much pleaded with me to go out with her and have a couple.

Do I say, "oh by the way, did I tell you I'm gay?"  I don't want to embarass her but I really thought she'd have figured it out or at least heard.  I really really like her and would like to remain friends, but have to tell her I guess.  There majority of the people there know I'm gay and just assumed there was no confusion there even though I don't discuss it too often while there.

Strangely, she has all the characteristics that I look for in a mate.  But that lack of a penis thing......

Off  to have a drink.  Night all.

This is when you trot out your HIV to scare her off.  It's dirty, it's low, it's damned effective.  Of course if she's okay with it I'm afraid you're going to have to marry her.

I'll share with you what I've said when interest in me was expressed by several women. I was honest and said first that I took their interest as a compliment because I genuinely did. And then, I calmly said I'm not gay, but I'm quite open to friendship with you. And, each of them wanted to continue with friendship.

OH Hell no.  I'm never taking that trip again.  I made that mistake right out of highschool.
