Good morning, ladies!  I've missed you all so much!  We got home just before 3pm yesterday afternoon.  I'd forgotten how much unpacking was involved after a trip.  And to think that next Sunday, we get to do it all again - beach style ( I HATE the beach!)

The weather  in Hershey was quite frigid the entire week.  It was nice the 2 days we were in the park - highs in the upper 60's to low 70's with cloud cover and a nice breeze - much better than sweating to death.

As is her way, Mim dragged hubby and me on every roller coaster they'd let her on.  She was hooping and hollering, hands in the air.  I had my eyes closed trying not to puke.  Our youngest son, 6, rode his 1st (and 2nd and 3rd and 4th) roller coasters.  He was a bit upset that they wouldn't let him on one that went upside down, though.  He was about 1/2 inch too short.  Our youngest daughter learned a new phrase "kiddie ride".  That's pretty much all she said "kiddie ride" and "more chocolate" (mo goc-a-let).

Cindy, so good to see you again!  Glad things are working out for you on all fronts.  Happy early birthday!

Wendy, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!  Your hair has gotten really long.  I try to let mine grow out, but I get too impatient with it.  When our oldest was born, it was one-length down to my waist.  Now it's short and sticks up everywhere (on purpose...lol)  I'm going today to get it trimmed before we leave for the beach.

Betty, glad you had a good time at your vacation.  I hear you on the job-hunting.  Things are slow here, too.  We had a friend get laid off of his job (his entire section got cut).  He was "promised" a job in December with the FBI - he just had to get his paperwork and background check done.  They offered him a contract that he was too scared to negotiate.  Then in April, a week before he was supposed to start, they called and rescended the contract.  His unemployment barely covers their house note, let alone food and utilities.  Their kids have health problems and now have no insurance.  Here you have to be off private insurance for 6mths before you can apply for a medical card.  I know this is happening all over.  Times are tough.

I need to get a shower and do the shopping.  Our pantry is bare.  Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend.  Cold and rainy here (still..will it ever end?)  Love to you all!

Mum

Hey ladies,

Cin, it's humid here as well, and my sinuses are always killing me.  I can't take decongestants because of being on thyroid meds; and they cause my heart to race and pound.    I'm not sure when Cristy applied initially for disability.  I'm glad she got it also.  I wish we would hear something from her though.    And I would take another job, other than what my degree's in, there's just nothing in this area right now.  Being that I live right next to Elkhart, they really got hit hard with the RV world shutting plants down left and right.  So, there's lots of people looking for jobs, and few getting them.

Wendy, happy birthday!!!  You don't look bad when you wake up (you should see me, ugh).

Mum, welcome back.  I was just wondering if you were getting back sometime this weekend.  When are you leaving for the beach and how long will you be gone (I have to keep track you know). :)  I'm glad you had a fun time at Hershey's.  I'm really sorry to hear about your friend's situation.  I hope things improve.  I know it's rough all over; I was just explaining where I live to Cindy.  Anyway, I'm glad you're back.

I never got that blind cleaned.  I went out to lunch with a friend of mine, got back, took a nap and slept for 4 hours.  I didn't want to get up when I did, but I didn't want to be awake all night either.  I'll get to it today or sometime next week.   The only concrete thing I have going on is that I believe I'm going to go to an NA speaker thing this evening.  Today I'm going to try to get to the library, though a friend of mine e-mailed me last night and is having a crisis, so I told her I would be around until about 4:00, in case she needs to get out.  You all have a good one.

Hey Girls-----

Glad you decided to post again, Cindy. We all have missed you but knew you were doing your thing with work and Ice. Ah, Camms, you were in Brooklyn, I am in Queens so there is no chance that you would see me. It would've been a trip though. I haven't gotten as many pics as I would've liked because it's been a bit rainy here. But I will be heading back home sometime next week but only for a few weeks. Then I will be back in NY again. Isn't love grand? ;D

I have often wondered what happened to Drag and a few others too. And I know I have gotten a bit bold and posted my pic now. And really don't care who sees me anymore really. I need to blog soon but I'll wait til I get back home to do that. I am down to my last vial of Lantus and not due to see my new primary doctor til the end of June. I am going to see if I can move that appointment up. I need to change my stats in my sig line. My cd4 is now 664 and I am undetectable again. I guess I was lucky not to have gotten resistant to the meds when I took that 2 month break.

So Wini, the new avy pic is your new look? It looks nice, fits you well too. And you never want to see what I look like in the morning. It is definitely not pretty, usually takes me about an hour to get my face right... ;) Not that I wear a lot of makeup cause I don't, just takes me that long to wake up. ;D

I think the next time you will all will hear from me, I'll be back home. I have a lot to do next week.

Hey everyone!

Cindy- So nice to hear from you. I am glad you are doing well.

Betty- I can totally relate to planning on cleaning and then not following through. You have another day.

Camms- I hope you enjoyed your party.

Netta- That's good you are healing well. How long before you are totally well?

Wendy- Wow! Your hair really grew! Happy Birthday!

Queen- It sounds like you found your niche! Good for you.  ;D

Well my Open House went well. I think someone asked what it was? It is just a time when parents and kids can come to the different classrooms and see what the kids have been working on. The primary grades usually deck out the rooms with all kinds of things. Some teachers also save ALL the projects during the year and put them out. In fifth grade we decided just to display what we are currently doing, so are focus is state reports. I also had the movies the kids made on the computer from our overnight field trip running on the projector. It all went really well and I am GLAD it is over. Unfortunately, a couple of the kids were really coughing and sick this week so of course I caught the cold and feel TERRIBLE today. Coughing, stuffy nose, sneezing.... >:(
We only this week and next and we are done. I hope I survive.....LOL!

Have a good night,
Andrea
