You cannot contract HIV from kissing. Wet, dry or in between.

HIV is a delicate virus which is transmitted in specific ways, ie through unprotected anal or vaginal sex, from sharing contaminated injecting equipment such as needles and syringes and in some case from HIV positive mother to her unborn child.

Moreover human saliva contains numerous substances which inhibit the virus, making it unable to mount a successful infection.

You were not at risk and you do not need to be tested.

Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and follow the links to our lessons on HIV transmission.

Meek,

I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep all your additional thoughts or questions in one thread. It doesn't matter how long it has been since you last posted in your thread or if the subject matter is different.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

You touching her vaginal area is not a risk. Hiv can only infect a very few, very specific cell types and these are not found on the skin nor are they found in small cuts.

Meek, this has been explained to you already.

HIV is not transmitted via someone touching your dick with their hands. It doesn't matter if they have vaginal fluids on their hands.

HIV is transmitted inside the body, where it can find the particular cells it needs to mount a successful infection. That means you have to have unprotected anal or vaginal sex, share needles and/or syringes.

You were not at risk of HIV infection.

Please understand that we are not going to get into a back and forth exchange of "what-ifs" with you.

You do not need to test over your own pre-cum or cum being in the condom. And no, it would not have been vaginal fluids. It was your own bodily fluids.

Please stop and think for a minute instead of just listening to your fears. The condom is the length of your penis and has a hoop at the end. That hoop grips the shaft of your johnson fairly tightly. Your fear that vaginal fluids are going to somehow seep into the condom just doesn't happen. The most important thing is that the glans or head of your penis is covered during intercourse. It covers the foreskin as well for someone who is not circumcised.

If your thought was a possibility and not just another fear, we would have known long ago that it presented a risk for transmission. But a condom provides very effective protection against HIV transmission.

You are worrying needlessly.

Am I at risk.

Yesterday I went and got some condoms at the nearby clinic as I was going to visit a girl  i met a week earlier. I got the condoms at the clinic, went to the girls house, started kissing and she ask me if I had a condom. I had condoms but they were small, they weren't the large magnums. She showed me some condoms in a draw they were magnums. After we had sex I test the condom for breaks by putting water into it.it didn't leak. I'm goin crazy thinking that maybe she could have used a needle to pierce the condom. Would I have seen the condom leak if she had used a needle to pierce the condom. Am I at risks due to using her condoms.

First of all, you have been told before about our rule which is that you keep all of your entries in the same thread. I have again merged your threads here. If you have occasion to write in again in the future, make sure that you always use this same thread. Otherwise you will risk getting a time out for breaking that basic rule.

You are worrying needlessly. You used a condom for intercourse which is exactly what you are supposed to do. Your worrying about the woman having purposefully damaged the condom is frankly ridiculous altogether.

Remember the condom also protects her.

You did not have a risk. Stop this nonsensical thinking and get on with your life. And if you are going to worry about the condoms someone gives you, then buy your own and make sure you get a size that fits you comfortably.

Dude, you have been posting here since January, 2011. You registered here in 2006. Surely you know the rules by now.

Please do not start a new thread every time you have another question or thought - regardless if you think your questions are related to each other or not. It helps us to help you when you keep all your thoughts or questions in one thread and it helps other readers to follow the discussion. Additional threads will be merged.

In addition, surely you know how HIV is spread by now. We've answered your questions, and I doubt we are willing to go yet another round with you if you refuse to even glance at our transmissions section.

You absolutely DO NOT need to test over this incident.

Sexually speaking, HIV is transmitted by:

Unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse.

That's it, that's all. No kidding.

Relax. Kiss all the girls you want. Might get mono. Won't get HIV.

*modified because I didn't see the multitude of other posts right away.

Meek,

This is the FOURTH time we've had to merge your threads. If you don't stop wasting our time like this, you're going to get banned. I've got better things to do with my time than merge your threads every time you come here.

As for why kissing isn't a risk, this has already been explained to you. RE-READ YOUR ENTIRE THREAD!!! Our answers are not going to change.

Saliva isn't infectious - and kissing isn't a risk for hiv infection.

If you read the Welcome Thread before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situations, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned!

Meek,

I have removed your PM privilege. We do not permit people to use PMs as a means of getting around paying a subscription for participation in the Am I Infected forum. You are not permitted to use PMs to ask questions dealing with hiv transmission and/or testing anyway.

If you read the Welcome Thread before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote

Do NOT use Private Messages to question other members about any transmission, testing or symptom issues. These issues must be discussed in the public forum. Misuse of the PM function in this manner will result in your PM privileges being removed without warning.
