There is one state hospital, but I can't recall the name. Matilda is the private hospital where most foreigners go and meds can be gotten there however quite expensive. The hard part for any foreigner is insurance coverage of existing conditions. It may not be possible to have it covered, so check your policy closely. Another option is to fly to Bangkok and be seen in one of there international clinics. Bumrungrad is by far the best. Medication is price controlled by the government and you could enjoy a fun weekend in Bangkok returning with a 6month supply. Its totally possible to leave on Friday, be seen on Saturday, and return on Sunday.

Bangkok is a short flight... You can see a doctor and buy a 6 month supply of meds there very cheaply... And have a nice long weekend holiday!... Just do a search here for "Red Cross Bangkok" for a number of threads...

Also if you happen to travel back and forth to Oz if you live there, you can get 6 months supply from your doctor/clinic.
