Really.  That's some pretty frequent testing there, Kat.

And no, I wouldn't...not based on those numbers.  Not yet.

agreed, I get tested twice a year now and my current levels are about 1/3 of yours, and I'm still able to not be on meds yet. And my doctor supports this decision.

Although your VL is rising, your CD4 and Percentage are enviably high!

If you check the guidelines, and they are available all over the internet including this site, and thebody.com, your pretty well off at the moment.

Roughly the guidelines state something like this. CD4 count 350, and a VL above 100,000, time for meds.

But by going by your numbers, you probably good for a while. Suggest you bone up on supps to help the body deal with HIV, Good Digestive Care, and start the Green Tea and/or Green Tea supps, although I'm waiting for some quality reports on Green tea supplements.

unless you are at 350 cd4 on three separate tests
or

VL is above 120,000 on three tests

or you feel awful sick and getting infections all the time

I joined a study for newly diagnosed and they want to see how the progression goes in newly infected persons. my next blood work is in may.

I also take 2 multivitamens, 2 200mg of selenium, drink a lot of water, eat much better now and make sure i get rest. I also started the gym again (wear slippers in the gym locker and don't sit on the benches without a towel on. the gym is a very filthy place!)

i have a bf who is supportive of me. as for sex, i gave up anal (which by the way is more dangerous for hiv + men)
