Who's gone missing?
« on: November 28, 2006, 05:14:59 pm »
I've noticed a lot of people not around so much at the moment but I can't put my finger on them all.  I hadn't seen lwood or swede_dish for a while but seen them both posting today.  Has Jenn managed to sort out living arrangements now etc?  Not heard from Matty either how is he doing?  Who else is missing as well i'm sure there is quite a few more.

I think part of the ebb and flow of this website over the 4 or 5 years that I have been participating and learning has been that we have grown so much but some people have come and gone and unfortunately, for whatever reasons, some have left entirely...Some folks are busy, others just feel that at a certain point being here may not be for them at the time...They may be "lurking" as such, and just not posting and hopefully if they desire will return someday and let us know how they are doing as we will presumably be living with this virus for a long time to come.

Without wanting to miss anyone not mentioned already I too have wondered about some other folks recently- Jim (fiskernish), Alan (doyourowndamndishes), Gregory Scott, Steven (our vitamin and nutrition expert), Brent (Bucko) and some other old timers people here may not know- Allan (he moved to San Francisco), Hawthorne (also out west), Lallo,  Moaxie (Ann mentioned him a while back), Newnick, EM, and others as well.

I hope they are all well and we hear from them all again before someone someday shuts out the lights for good.

What about that Tom Horn guy from Madison (i think)???  He used to post a lot of informative links and stuff.  Since the new forum he hasn't been around.

MSP:

I think you are confusing TomH (from Chicago) with Tim Horn.  But you're right, I don't think TomH did the transition to the new forum.

I have been wondering how Matty has been doing? I dropped him a PM about 2 weeks ago but has not heard from him. Matty, I hope you are feeling better.

I haven't seen Mouse lately either. Had asked about him in another post but has heard nothing. Anyone heard anything?

Matty is fine. Very involved in his beloved Australian politics. Taking his pills and hating every minute of it. Don't hold your breath awaiting my beloved Matty's return.

Im fine.  Thanks.

Everything's cool here.  ;D

Matty might be crispy as there were bush fires near his house yesterday. Hopefully that turned out okay, though. It sounded pretty bad, I hope they have it under control.

But I talk to him all the time so generally he is alright. Hasn't been feeling really great, though. But I think he's going in the right direction.
