Just read the AIDS news article on TH9507.
I was in this trial in Toronto for about 5 months. I had to withdraw because I started to develop an allergic reaction - mostly skin problems. The scientists were concerned as this often lead to more serious side effects - heart problems. Someone in the trial apparently developed an allergic reaction like myself and and one day shorty after taking the med, he developed a serious skin reaction and started to develop heart palpitations. I was withdrawn from the trial involuntarily to avoid possibly developing the same problems.
Has anyone else been in the trial?
Was well set up - taking CT scans and dexa scans to measure body fat, amongst other tests.

I have just received my 6 week supply on the second Phase III study for TH9507.
Its been almost a week since I started injecting.
The first couple of days my pupils were very small and I felt like I was on speed. Other than that I've had just minor joint pain.
the results that I've seen have been very promising. Am looking forward to see improvements myself.
I have a 31" waist and a 42" stomach/ab area.
Am curious if anyone else out there is in this study.

I tried to get in this study but was not allowed since I'm already in a different drug study. I hope this one is still recruiting when my current one finishes in a few months.

I'm doing one in Dallas. They tell me that at the end of August they are cutting off any new recruits.
I've started a couple of side-effects this past weekend. Have started having headaches and some joint pains.
I may have gotten lucky and received the real drug.
