We arrived home form the airport today around 3:30.  It's always good to get back home and see our cats; they miss us so much when we're away.  I already miss the folks in Boston.  It seems like we should just be able to go outside and see 'em hanging out.

This was our fourth AMG.  I always have a hard time deciding which has been the best one.  Montreal was our first AMG.  We were married there, too.  It's a wonderful city and meeting so many other members was a moving experience.  San Francisco was great.  There were so many people there; I believe it was our largest AMG so far.  Besides, we always refer to San Francisco as 'The Motherland'; I think a visit to SF is in order for any gay man!  Mexico City was different.  I enjoyed the AMG, but I didn't like the destination as much as the others.  Still, experiencing other cultures is always good.  Boston was such a clean, friendly city it would have been hard to not have had a good time.  Not only that, the company was terrific, as always.

Of course, thoughts and discussion of the next AMG have already started.  I'd recommend that anybody who hasn't attended one do what they can to make it possible.

I'd like to thank Dennis for all the work he put into organizing this.  From accommodations to a scavenger hunt to a tour of Salem, he had pretty much everything covered.  I'd also like to thank those who contributed time, energy, and funds to make this happen.  It'll be great to see those who we've met at  other AMG's, as well as new attendees, at the next AMG!

David (who's missing the 'gang' already)

Hi Double D and Miss B:

Like you I'm already missing everyone too.  (Well except the crazy woman who followed me home   ;)).

I just can't imagine an AMG without you 3 there, it just wouldn't seem right.

Whereever we go next year, I hope that we can all go and share another great gathering.

Take care you guys,

RAB

Uncle D, Auntie D, and Miss Bonnie, glad you all made it home in good form.  I agree with RAB, AMG wouldn't be the same without you all.  Bonnie, next year, we're going to have to have a woman's night out with you, Jan, Sheri, Snow, and me - with the boys waiting by the phone, parole money in hand ::)

Mim is definately missing her guys.  She's still talking about you all and asking how long until 2010. :)

 hi davids.

I came home this afternoon and opened my email (remember, I'm a boy without any ipod whatsoever...no texting for me) and found a picture you had sent from Friday night's Meet and Greet.  That was so sweet. OF course, I look 2 sheets to the wind, but that's OK.  We'll do it again next year.

It's so good to see you and Bonnie. I walked outside yesterday morning and you were gone.  Sorry I missed you.  Bonnie was the first face I saw when I arrived Friday morning and I just felt so welcomed.

You're right.  It's a special group of people and I'm not sure if it really matters where we are just so long as we are

David, David & Bonnie,

It's so nice to go home and have pets who have missed you -- so many people think that cats are too independent for such things, but I know my cat is missing as he's driving Sid insane by waking him up every few hours   ;D

I too already miss you all -- and the rest of the gang.  Unfortunately I am still living in a hotel, but  NONE OF YOU are out there when I leave -- and there is NO Fritz bar to sit and talk and watch the Red Sox.

Can't wait to see all 3 of you next year.  If any of you find yourself in Virginia -- give me a holler.

Hugs,
Mike
