Help!! Anal Unprotected Hiv.

Thanks for offering this amazing service for people who are in trouble.

About 36hours ago, I met with a French guy who is working in Madrid.
We were playing with each others, he tried to poke me for several times, but never went far in. Then he put on a condom, he cum inside the condom, and the condom didnt break. After one hour, we went sexual again, we were using lub masturbating each others, the he was teasing me with his penis near my anus, then suddenly, i went in. It stayed there for the most 20 seconds or less. I got freak out and asked him his statue, he said he had an HIV test 2 months ago in Madrid and it was negative. But still if he is on window period, and having a really high viral load. I must be in a severe danger. I didnt find blood in my anus, but who knows if there was small sore or something.

Please help me, I am currently living in Portugal, and I dont know what to do, I tried to contact the guy again, but he is not replying. Should I go get PEP pills for this accident?

Hi Wash , the anal dipping episode being of short duration is in your favor .

Since we are talking about a single incident of relatively short duration. All of those are factors which make for relatively low risk for you.

BUT lower risk is not the same as no risk. We don't believe in using percentages and numbers in a situation like this. You have to decide whether you are willing to take the risk and skip PEP. If you do PEP, it means that you can test initially at 6 weeks after completing the 28 days of PEP. If you get a negative result, which I think there's a good chance for, then you test at 3 months after PEP for a conclusive negative result.

This has to be your call. You seem to realize that you need to avoid this kind of risk in the future. And if you are going to do PEP, the earlier you begin it within 48-72 hours after the incident, the better your chances are that it will be effective.

I personally think PEP is not necessary in the brief dipping episode as you described it and would expect a negative test if you forgo PEP and get tested in 6 weeks post exposure and then again at 3 months . While I think PEP is probably not warrented its still your decision to make .

I read on Internet, that there hold different opinions about precum in HIV transmission. Some people said that it was just theoritical possibility, some not. Lets assume that the guy is newly infected, how much amount of precum is required for a possible transmission? And since he already ejaculated an hour ago, did it make a difference on the possible transmission?

Beside this, I remembered when I asked him if he wanna bareback or with protection, he said that he preferred with, but its depends on me. Now I feel like I am totally screwed by him.

As for PEP pills, is that free of charge or should I pay? and How can I get them?

Giving parentage odds on HIV transmission and assigning them to your personal situation isn't something that we do or that can easily be done . Its also important to remember that all advice we give is with the assumption that the risk was with an HIV positive individual . 

I wouldn't expect you to test POZ over the incident as you described it and if it were me I probably would not do PEP . Its your decision , your call .

I'm not familiar with where you live or if you are insured or not . If were to decide to take PEP you would have to go to a HIV clinic or the emergency room or your doctor to discuss procuring your meds .

If this is how you go about practicing safer sex, how do you know you're not already hiv positive?

And if you are already hiv positive, then you screwed yourself by not insisting on condoms every single time.

It is an hiv negative person's responsibility to remain hiv negative through insisting on condoms. Every. Time.

You should not be asking random guys if they want to bareback if you want to stay hiv negative.

You shouldn't bother asking their status either, because many people do not accurately know their hiv status - they only think they're negative - while others will lie. It sounds like you might be one of those people who only thinks he's hiv negative.

You should be using condoms with each and every person you have anal (or vaginal) sex with, every time, no exceptions, until such time as you are in a securely monogamous, long-term relationship where you have both tested for hiv and all the other STIs together.

If you do go for PEP, make sure you are given a rapid hiv test first.

If it's negative and you've been barebacking with others in the past four to six weeks, it could be a false negative (from testing too early in the window period).

Taking PEP when you're already hiv positive can lead to drug resistance.

If you're in the habit of asking guys if they want to bareback - and assuming they are hiv negative when they say "yes, let's bareback" - then you could already be hiv positive.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

The only reason why I asked that question is that I never intent to do so, i just wanna check if they are responsible for themselves. Would let expose themselves in possible transmission.

I always use condom for safer sex. Cuz in fact, I think that people are lying all the time and lack of safe sex practicing.

The furthest thing that I did is episode like this, guys poking me for seconds, or slipping inside, cuz of the lub.

I have hiv test two months ago, the result was negative.

So I am anxious if I should get Pills or not.

What you describe is called dipping and yes, dipping has been implicated in the seroconversion of the RECEPTIVE partner, which you were. Not very often, but it can and does happen.

It's up to you whether or not you seek PEP. If you do, you must start PEP within 72 hours of the incident, the sooner, the better.

And make sure you are given a rapid hiv test first. It's protocol that sometimes gets overlooked.

Kaletra and Truvada are the main approved PEP combo. Truvada on its own is also an approved PEP combo and that would be enough in your case.

I contact the centre, they said that since I couldn't prove that frech guy is positive, they won't warrant the pills. And now its almost 72 hours. I feel like that I am desperate.

I never had bareback in my life, this the furthest in my life, I tried to contact that guy, but I couldn't. Now I guess he was telling the lie.

That stupid 10 or 20 seconds totally ruined my life.

I tried to find on the Internet about Dipping HIV infected case, but I couldn't.

Now I dont know what to do, I am always cautious in sex.
