cum on my penis head
« on: September 14, 2010, 11:54:30 am »
Please Ann, Andy answer,9

Hi, I´m worried I may have caught hiv. I had my first sexual experience two weeks ago, it was with another unkown guy, we engaged in mutual masturbation. I´m worried because he ejaculated on my penis head (I´m uncut) while he mastubated me. After he touched my anus(without inserting his finger), but I felt his finger was wet around my anus(I think he had semen on his hand yet),  please help me I´m desperate.
Was this a risk?. Should I get an hiv test?

Thanks

Alexet

Alex,

Mutual masturbation is not a risk for hiv infection, even if he got his cum on the head of your penis and even though you're uncut. Getting cum on the outside of your anus is also not a risk for hiv infection.

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that, sexually speaking, is transmitted during unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies. Once hiv is outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect.

Here's what you need to know in order to remain hiv negative:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER THIS MASTURBATION INCIDENT, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank you very much by your anwer.  I have been desperate the last week, some days ago (before I know aidsmeds) my best friend referred me to the body.com. I have read in this web site other similar situations to mine.  Experts said these are considered to be low risk becasuse infected semen can contact with mucous membrane and now I am some confused.

Please could you help me to clarify doubts?

Thanks

Alex,

We cannot account for the often incorrect information provided on other websites.

As Ann has told you, masturbation (yes even mutual masturbation) is not a risk for HIV transmission. You are worrying needlessly. You do not need to be tested.

Thanks, Matty.
But I´m worried because another guy ejaculated on my penis head, on my foreskin while  mutual masturbation.

HIV is a fragile virus. It needs the receptive setting of a vagina or an anus to be transmitable in a viable form. No matter what spin  you put on a masturbatory situation it is not one which HIV can survive in a viable form.

Masturbation is a very common mutually performed sexual act. If it was a risk we would have known that long before today. You are worrying needlessly.

Get on with your life.

I have a last question,  I have known there is documented transmission cases in healtcares who became infected by mocous membrane(eyes, mouth, nose) exposed to infected hiv fluid(blood). I think my exposure can be similar situation(my glans and foreskin) was exposed to semen.

Please I am interested to hear your opinion on this.

Alex,

Your situation couldn't be more different to an occupational hazard that a health care worker may come across.

You did NOT have a risk for hiv infection. If you did, we'd tell you. You did NOT.

If you read the Welcome Thread before posting like you're supposed to, you will have read the following posting guideline:

Quote

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation[/b], will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Please consider yourself warned!

Your "worrying" has no basis in HIV science.

Give it up and get on with your life. If there was any risk we would tell you so.
