Thank you
« on: October 11, 2006, 06:35:27 pm »
I just wanted to take a moment  and say THANKS  alot to all of you on here.  You all seem very great.  I'm learning alot by reading and replying to the posts on here.  I think I would be totally lost without  you guys.  I respect all of you for your knowledge,  support and guidence.    I'm still a newbie  only 2.5 months of all of this and on meds too.  I'm still having some difficulty dealing with my situation  but I know that I am not alone  although sometimes I feel that way.   My labs were repeated  7 weeks after meds.  T Cells went from  357   to  829  and from  7%  to  28%   and  VL  went from over  100,000  to   1.2   i'm not sure if  1.2=  1200??  I go back in another six weeks  for follow up.   I just wanted to say  thanks again for being here.

Big Hugs,

Joey

Joey, some people get lucky and get a break between diagnosis and meds... Time to assimilate what its like to be +e then to be thrust right into the meds thing is allot to handle...   Don't think its not.  Pat yourself on the back for dealing with all of this so fast... Overwhelming?? Yup!  Doo-able?  You did!   Hats off to you Joey!   Great numbers by the way... Wana share?

Love

Good job Joey!

The meds are putting the kibosh on the virus, and your body is surging with those new CD4 cells.  Same thing happened with me, although at a much lower scale.  Don't be discouraged if the next set of labs comes back lower than that initial blast of CD4 cells though.....my doctor warned me that it would probably happen, and damn if he wasn't right on the money.

Slow and steady wins the race  (or something like that...hell you know what i mean  ;))

Take care,
John

Great nimbers Joey.  Glad you are hanging in there.  iIn the begining it is very difficult like being on an emotional roolercoaster.  You seem to be doing pretty good.  Keep up whatever your doing cause your doing something right.  Congrats on the great numbers.  Much Love Rachel
