Another big retarded mistake!

I don't think there's anyone in the world as scared as I am right now. Yes, I made the retarded mistake of getting drunk and having a sexual encounter with of all people, a friend of mine! I don't really have any knowledge of her sex life either.

During the encounter, the condom somehow slipped off, but it was only off for I think one insertion into the vagina, in which I pulled out and stopped (I never ejaculated). I guess I realized how retarded I was being.

Bad thing is, I've never liked this girl and I also have a girlfriend whom I've been dating for a really long period of time. This occurred Saturday night and I've been sweating bullets since then.

Around late Sunday night, I started getting a sore throat, a cough, and a runny nose. I had a cold about 2 weeks ago and I don't know if it for some reason is flairing up again because of the colder weather. But I'm also running a fever of about 99.8-100.6, but I can't tell if it's just from me worrying so much. This has been going on since late Sunday night. I couldn't hardly even sleep last night.

Do any of you think that I am at risk of having HIV?

Anytime you have unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse, you are putting yourself at risk for hiv and other sexually transmitted infections.

However, saying that, hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus and more so from a woman to a man. The odds are in your favour of testing negative over this incident. At test at the three month point will be conclusive.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection.
