« on: December 05, 2010, 01:49:52 pm »
My partner just found this and I thought I would share.

Easy enough.

I'd add that the number 1 way to avoid colds is scrupulous and frequent hand washing. Better to not transmit the virus to yourself in the first place.

When I use a public toilet, my first thought is how to leave after washing my hands without touching anything.

Avoid rubbing your eyes or nose after touching questionable surfaces.  If ya can't wash yer hands keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you.  Period.

I was just at the store picking up some things for dinner . I witnessed a boy pick up some pre-chewed gum out of the parking lot and pop it in his mouth , he looked pretty pleased with himself .

I read somewhere that not rubbing your eyes is very key -- so many cooties can get into your body easily.

Does chewing gum loose it's flavor on the parking lot over night?
Kids build up flora that way!!!

The first thing we do when we get home is wash our hands with soap.

After our kids graduated and moved away, we stopped getting colds.
If you don't want colds, don't have kids.
