Grinding A Girl While Naked HIV Risk??
« on: November 28, 2009, 04:38:51 pm »
Hi,

im new here. Looks like a good informative place :) Well in all honesty I may have no risk here but im a bit worried still.

Basically me and a girl I see cuddled a lot naked. Well we slept together naked. Ok well I was not naked, I had my boxers on but my boxers have a hole (like all boxers) where the penis is. I woke up several times with my penis sticking out of the hole erect.

Now where the worry comes from may seem a bit silly. But what if while me and the girl were sleeping my penis accidently in the middle of the night went into her vagina. I know this sounds crazy/paranoid but if you think about it then its very possible. She would wrap her legs around me at night and I would make sure my penis did not touch her vagina but then I feel asleep. Whos to say that we did accidently "twist" into the right spot where my penis entered her vagina without us both knowing?

I mean I assume many people who sleep together and use protection sleep like this. So it seems this could be a concern for any people who sleep together and use protection. I never slept with this girl or even got oral sex from her. We did grind naked but my penis never touched her vagina I dont think.

But another thing is this girl was on her period. So that could be bad if my penis slipped into her vagina. Also I found out she works at a spa. I mean I suppose some spas are legit but this is in LA. I mean she would always be like "I got to go to a clients house tonight for work". I asked her what she does and she said they put stones on the clients back and stuff and she said it was nothing sexual. But I find it sucpious.

So now ive had a potential risk with potentially a prostitute. Im really scared here. Its only been like 4 weeks so I cant even get tested yet. Do you guys think this is a high risk scenario or what? I mean one thing is I know couples sleep together im sure naked after sex without protection and they risk the potential of something happening in the night without knowing it. Crap I hate this, I cannot even function until I find out if im negative or not. If anyone could give some advice on the situation I would really appreciate it. Thanks

I understand what you mean about not being able to function until you know. I feel like I am living in limbo, too. I'll pray for you.

Kaitlyn, what Annie is referring to is that only those authorized by the site are supposed to respond to members in this section. Please remember that for future reference. And it's still a good idea for you to read that Welcome thread.

Billy,

You didn't have a risk. Believe me, if your penis had slipped inside her while you slept, you both would have known about it. Otherwise, what you describe is frottage (rubbing the genitals together without penetration) and frottage is NOT a risk for hiv infection. Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse, where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

Here's what you need to know in order to remain hiv negative:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER FROTTAGE, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!
