Title: Do you regret of testing hiv?

It says the average infected person needs treatment is 10 years.
Do you rather get testing in the 8th year?
If you think you are recently infected, would you rather not to test it right away?

Frighten, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.  That people would rather not know that they're HIV+?  That's foolish to me.  Not knowing equals wreacking havoc with one's health.

I tested for HIV within months of contracting the virus. It was very hard.

But no, I would rather not have found out 8 years later. I prefer to know that I am not passing on the virus to anyone else.

Also, everybody is different. My bf needed meds right after getting infected, not 10 years later.

From the ARS I have, I really got convinced that I am +ve.
I am afraid of testing it, no guts to face it.
However, if I don't test it, I don't know if I can live with the anxiety.

I don't believe that you're supposed to be posting in this forum section if you've not yet tested positive.  You should be putting these thoughts in your thread in the Am I Infected section.

I don,t regret being test for I think it was called HLV III ? I also got tested within months of infection plus the reason I got tested was not for HIV it was Hep A-B an the doctor in the emergency room that was before they had clinics ask  if I would concent to the test but I already new deep down what the outcome was going to be. It was for my Twenty Six Birthday Party Won a $100.00 bar tab got drunk an fell for a man even gossip of him being having AIDS when you are drunk you hear but don,t comprehend what the problem of tomorrow Will bring.He was hot I was drunk the fun last a about a week sent me packing an two months started getting sick an rest is history.
