HIV is spread through penetrative vaginal and/or anal sex. It is not spread through receiving fellatio.

Tom, it wouldn't have mattered how much blood she had in her mouth. In the entire history of the epidemic no guy has ever confirmed to have been infected through receiving oral sex. It's safe to say you aren't going to make history by becoming the first.

As JK has pointed out to you, the only confirmed means of sexually transmitting HIV are through vaginal and anal intercourse. If you consistently use condoms for those activities you will be well protected.

that's what i thought but i was unsure. thanks guys, that does relieve me a little. i'll still go get tested again in 3 months though. i have tried to educate myself as much as possible, but many places seem to be misleading with information.

Of course you can test if you wish as long as you understand it's strictly for your peace of mind. Receiving oral is simply not a risk for HIV transmission. Period.

thank you, andy. i already had a baseline test done about a week after it happened on nov 14 which came back on all stds to be negative. that calmed me down a bit, and i realized that i was really over reacting even though that one week test isn't conclusive. i already worry needlessly and take medication for it, so it is no surprise to me that i am still filled with anxiety even though the risk i have presented is close to nothing as you and many others have stated on this site.

thank you for easing my mind though, it has helped. i will try not to bother you all any further, haha.

guys i was doing so well, being relaxed and living with a healthy mindset. then the other day on day 49 i started coming down with a runny nose and sore throat =[ now its just a runny nose but still..how could i let something so small knock me down again. i told myself i would not post again until i got a final result but i didnt expect this D: this whole incident months ago has opened my eyes to the fact that i require therapy and i am actually scheduled to start soon..
