Symptoms
« on: December 12, 2007, 12:23:17 am »
I have had warts on my chin/neck for 5 years. I periodically have the ones on my neck removed when they get too big. I have a light beard so the ones on my chin aren't very noticable (they're in a cluster). Besides that, I have red knuckles, blotchy hands, fatigue, lower back pain, redness under eye lids, and bloodshot eyes. My encounter was low risk...no penetration, the girl was on top of me skin to skin with her vagina rubbing against me. The next day or so I had a "rug burn" type scar on the underneath side of my penis...I assumed it was from my zipper when I was clothed. Could it be possible for the zipper to open skin and her secretions to enter my body there? I was originally scared about herpes and have tested neg for herp/chlam/gono. Also have a redish rash on my penis head...doc thought it was yeast but it didn't respond to fungal cream. Furthermore, it was with a 18 yr old white girl in an upper class suburb. Could the stress/anxiety be causing any of my symptoms??

Nightmare,

If you'd read our Welcome Thread like you're supposed to you'd be aware of this posting guideline:

Only those Moderators and members who are authorized to answer questions in the Am I Infected? forum are permitted do so. Unauthorized responses may be deleted without permission of the poster. Repeatedly posting replies of this nature may result in a Time Out or permanent ban, at the discretion of the Moderator Team.

Please restrict yourself to your own thread and mind your own business.

999,

Any symptoms you might be experiencing at the moment mean nothing when it comes to diagnosing HIV infection. HIV is diagnosed by identifying specific risk behaviours and then having an antibody test performed at the appropriate time. That time is 13 weeks from the date of the last risk behaviour.

Frottage (rubbing genitals together) is not a risk for HIV transmission and so there's to need to test as a result of this particular incident.

With reference to this comment:

it was with a 18 yr old white girl in an upper class suburb.

Please understand that a person's race and socio-economic class have no bearing on HIV transmission. HIV doesn't care who people are, it only cares about what they do.

You should take the time to read our Welcome Thread and follow the links to our Lessons to learn more about how HIV is and is not transmitted.
