hello. everyone. i just tested poz!
« on: March 19, 2007, 02:43:26 pm »
hello. everybody! i have known that i had got HIV,just after i fell in love with my dreamprince. now i have to leave him.  :-[
i am a chinese student in germany. last summer i had sex with a german without condom. then i knew my Mr.right. He wanted me to do a HIV-test, so i did it. and i have also got it. the result ist HIV+. just before X'mas day. then i have had the worst X'mas and new year in my life. and i knew that i should go away from my love, i should have to leave him. but he still doesn't know what was happened to me.

but now i feel better. i have thought so much what i had never thought before.  at the past, i didn't love myself, i didn't have confidence, and i even didn't know who i really was. and now the god give me a chance to think about all of them, think about who i am , what the meaning of the life is.  i think i can have a better life than before, although i have HIV.  and i hope i can live happilier and better with all of you.

the life is not going to the end, a new life has just begun.  i hope i can have friendship with all of you, and fighting together against the viren.
NEVER GIVE UP!

by the way, i received my first test results on 02,02,2007,   VL:  about 10100, CD4: 638.

Hello, Ivan. I'm glad you found your way to our site.

It sounds like you have a very good attitude about learning to live with HIV in your life. Your numbers are good. You may already know that it's very important that you continue to have them checked regularly. Having a good working partnership with your doctor to keep you well is an essential part of dealing with the virus.

You're always welcome to come here if you have any questions or anything you want to discuss or just to talk with other members.

Welcome!

Hi Ivan and a big welcome to AIDSmeds.  :) Your healthy attitude will be one of your main assets in fighting HIV. Ask us anything. We're extremely knowledgeable. Are you still in Germany? Did you move?

I think since "Mr. Right" or "Dream Prince" asked you to take the HIV test, you should tell him that the result came back positive. He should know this information.

Just think if you were in his shoes, you would want to know because it's so important. We all have to do our duty to halt the spread of this worldwide virus.

In love,
Alex

thank you for your support, alex.

yes, i am still in germany, and maybe still for very long. because it is more free here for the POZ folk. i mean the discrimination is illegal here in germany. i think i can get a better life here than in china.

and i will tell my BF this week or maybe next week. so whatever a result i will get from him, i will still be strong. but of course i hope he can accept it. but who knows?

Yes, be strong. I'm sending you extra strength, honey. Please consider telling him as soon as possible since you had sex last summer. I would agree about what you said about life in Germany versus life in China as a poz person. If you have time, take a look at this movie - The subject is related to HIV in China. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2007-02/27/content_5777310.htm

i know this movie, and i am also very happy that they had won oscar. but it doesn't mean the world would changed, and the country would changed.

the discrimination is still very strong in china.

Ivan: Welcome! This is one place you will find genuine support and information.

Good luck with your BF. I don't understand  ??? why he told you to get tested and didn't arrange to be there for your results (Maybe he's poz, and feels he "slipped up"). I don't know, and these are your private issues. You say you'll be OK with or without him. That's the best attitude for sure.

Your "numbers" are excellent. Germany is a great place to live, including for gay and/or POZ. If you have questions about your long-term legality there, get German immigration/visa counseling. You would be in a bad situation if you were in the USA; my country does discriminate against poz foreigners.

That's it for now, Tschuss!  8)  -megasept (Schreib mir etwas auf Deutsch mit dem Private Message wenn du wollst, OK?)

thank you very much, megasept. you are so nice like the others here.  i know it is not so good for the gay men and POZ folks in the USA, not only the government and also some citizens have been discriminate the POZ folks and gay men. but i think and i believe it would be better year after year.

hi koi1.

Ivan, I am sorry to hear about your situation but it sounds like you have a great attitude!!!!

I tested positive right before Christmas, too. It may help you to know that I am going through some of the same feelings at the same time...

About your boyfriend --Tell him -- I told mine!!! He has tested negative each time since....We are still together. I know it is scary to let him know but he may surprise you. Also, my boyfriend lives in Asia! I will be reunited with him soon (he has come to visit while I has been getting my health sorted)...I will be returning to live and work there.

Hey...so if you ever want to talk about being POZ in a foreign country I will be here to lend support.

Cheers!!!!

thanks, J.R.E.

you are already a model for me. i had seen that you have been already lived with HIV for long over 20 years. and everyone know the meds will always better day after day. so i am not afraid of the life. oppositely, i would like to  begin to enjoy my life, to do all the thing what i wanted to do but haven't done before, to experience more special things, to do more challenges and to leanr more, to study more, to work more.

the life is not going down, but just has begun.  my motto: BE HAPPY, AND NEVER GIVE UP!

we can do all the things so good as the others. trust me.

Hi Ivan. Yeah, stay courageous and optimistic/upbeat - Those are wonderful things to hold on to. I'm so glad you told your boyfriend about your poz result (as you stated in your other thread). Like you, I also feel the meds will get better and better for us pozzies. I find hope in the articles I find on the internet, as well conversations with other people  :D
